You know what I think.. Here's what I honestly think.. One of the things we should cover in our letters could be to ask him if he'd consider registering a myspace/facebook/twitter if for no other reason than to have a REAL account on one or each of these websites. He doesn't even have to USE them just have an "official" page on each that his fans can post links to in an effort to easily dissuade the fakes. You know what I mean? For an example. Say he registers a real Twitter account but never uses it and simply make it known that it's the official real deal. Maybe through his agency and/or have it linked under "Official Website" on IMDb. If nothing else it would maybe help on the Faxo site. Khei, I agree with you. The beauty of an official website is that he would not even have to run it, simply give an occasional update to the site managers. And as for Twitter, no celebrity does all of their tweets for the fans, just once in awhile. I still think that if enough of us were to politely ask him, but do so in a certain time frame, kind of how we write to the networks on the Journey Book Campaign. That way he would suddenly be receiving lots of mail ("lots"...get it? ) from fans asking him to do this, and he may change his mind. His birthday is on the 24th of this month; perhaps after that we could make this our next project?

This is good to know. Gabriel Mann has been good to us fans, at some point in the future we will need to thank him properly. Next item to research: when is Gabriel Mann's birthday?
@officialcraigh has been getting a lot of votes on Faxo, it is amazing what the word "official" can do, even when used by someone that is not official. Hopefully this will cause the fake craig to back off, and help to make more of a case to convince the real Craig that he needs that official website.
Thank you Jlyn for bringing this to our attention.

*Nods*
It's a shame that fakes keep springing up. Good to know we have someone "On the inside" as it were who can, as you've said, "police" Twitter for us.
Is anyone reporting the fakes to Twitter or is that even worth the trouble?

Looks like reporting it is unnecessary now. The "Official" fake seems to have disappeared from Twitter altogether.

I know one of our members contacted Craig's manager asking about the account. It took a bit longer than last time, but with all that's going on down there, not unexpected. Glad it's gone! No more stealing votes on Faxio!

And the fans rejoiced!
XP
Okay I'm just being goofy
The one who was running the Twitter account is still on myspace claiming that they got bored with twitter and chose to cancel the account.

I'm glad the fake is off Twitter. The My Space page has been there for over a year, so I don't think it gets the attention the Twitter account did. I remember that when I saw the My Space page, I wondered why the real Craig had never mentioned it in interviews. Obviously, he never mentioned it because it's fake too!
Geez. It's amazing how people can keep doing this! Does pretending to be a celebrity fill some sort of void in someone's life? It's very strange. But I'm glad this one is gone now.

I know.. I mean.. I have no life and am probably less interesting than a rock but I make do with what I have.. I don't have some strange need to pretend to be someone else.
As for Myspace.. I think less and less people use Myspace anymore.

But I'm glad this one is gone now. They probably begin with good intentions, but then they get side-tracked when fans start to respond to "them". This person probably is a sincere fan of Craig Horner, and at some point they decide to "help" him. They probably rationalize that maybe he is too busy to have a twitter account, or to have a website, so they will be nice and do it for him. When fans begin to respond, they get a taste of celebrity, and like it. They most likely forget (or choose to forget) that these fans are responding to what they believe is the real Craig, and not simply a fan passing themselves off as him. And, until someone calls them on it, they try to keep it up as long as possible. There should probably be a law against imitating a celebrity, because it really is fraud.

I guess it's kinda, sorta a grey area. I mean.. It's kinda Identity theft in a way but without the financial fraud. On the other hand it's still wrong in that by doing so they may have a negative effect on how fans view the celebrity they are impersonating.
Ultimately I guess it's simply up to the rest of us to keep open minds that these fakes are not representatives or affiliated in any way.
I will point out one positive thing about these fakes. It gives the vulgar fans a place to make fools of themselves without having the real Craig see some of the disgusting comments that have(Or will if they haven't yet) posted.
I honestly think that such comments are what chased Nathan off Myspace and onto Twitter. He seems to enjoy posting things but Twitter allows for him to pick and choose who's comments he can see rather than being subjected to anything and everything.
