Seeker Wardrobe As we all know, the studio in New Zealand where "LoTS" was filmed has been gradually auctioning away items from the series such as props and character wardrobes. I tried to bid on some of Richard's outfits, but I could never compete with the bids for those...until now! To my surprise, I won an item that Craig wore in the season 1 episode "Deception" Remember when Kahlan confesses a D'Haran soldier named Carver Dunn, and Richard decides to impersonate him so that he can slip into the D'Haran camp? The D'Harans arrest him, not because they realize that he is Richard, but because they think he deserted from their army. During the scenes when they question Richard, and then during his big fight scene, he is wearing a D'Haran undershirt. This is it! At last, I finally have something that Craig wore while playing Richard. I realize that it is the most simple outfit that he wore in the series, but never the less thrilled to have a piece of Seeker history.

I find way this particular outfit is very seekerly you know, it reminds me of Richard is his most "manly" form I think I know what you mean. This fight scene was unique in that Richard had no way to defend himself except with his bare hands. No "Seeker" outfit, no Sword of Truth, not even one of Kahlan's blades. Nothing but raw strength. And, how well he does! Even though he is outnumbered, he manages to fight off all of those D'Harans, till finally no one else wants to challenge him.

Way to go deacon, you won this, wow. Now come on, did you at least try it on, how does it fit? This is so cool..... The way that this shirt is designed, it would actually fit a lot of people, as the front is open ended and wraps around the waist. So, as far as trying to see how I would measure up to Richard / Craig, this wouldn't be the shirt to do it. ;D Some of his other wardrobe items would be more accurate for that. Besides, based on what we already know about him, Craig is 1 1/2 inces taller than I am, and it is no secret that he works out a lot. It's his job to wear these outfits. No, I will do my best to preserve this shirt. Hopefully years later after "Seeker" concludes it's 8th season , I will still be able to show this shirt to people in mint condition.

Not surprisingly, these were some of the Richard outfits that drew really high bidding. As much as I would love to have one of these, I couldn't compete at the level that these were auctioned for. All of the full sets (worn by Craig and his stunt double) are all gone, now they have single items such as the shirt from the episode "Deception" that I was fortunate enough to get. You would think that after Richard's outfits, Kahlans would be the next most in demand (actually someone did bid a small fortune for her matching set of daggers), but what the fans really seem to go wild over are Denna, Cara, and some of the other Mord'Sith outfits.

We Seekers do like us some leather, LOL.
