Deacon,
I'm not sure if you saw my other questions about this or not. But are you planning on posting this information on other boards so more fans can send Craig questions? I think it would be a really good idea. I'd hate for him to only get one or two.

Deacon, unfortunately I can't tell where you posted, and I don't see your posts anywhere that I frequent. So I'll go ahead and post your message to Legend of the Seeker.org. If someone could post it on Live Journal, that would be helpful. I'd do it, but I don't have an account. Also, it would be good to post this on Twitter and Facebook as well. Deacon, can you take care of Facebook? I know there are several Seeker things, at least one mostly about Craig.

Just a couple of quick comments from me. First, I think it's important for us to remember that we're all in this together. If you'd like to have an idea posted somewhere, (another forum, facebook, twitter)... go ahead and post it. Each of us are involved in so many different ways, it's a bit unfair to ask others to take on a task that you could easily do as well.
Deacon, on your letters to Craig. I have no problem with using this thread to gather a list of questions we'd like to pose to Craig, but I think it might be better to ask someone to take the lead on the task and go from there. Most Mods are already putting in extra time doing the actual Moderating. And, as you may have noticed, since the shows cancellation, we've had fewer active Mods participating. This thread lists several, but unfortunately, I'm pretty much the only active person still here... My Admin. powers are a bit quazi. I'd love to appoint new Moderators but in all honesty, I probably need to run that past Erika first. *makes note to go do that*
Not that I'm not willing to send the letter, but I'm leaving the country in about 2 weeks and will be gone until the New Year.
ETA: I'll take care of Twitter. Will send from CSS.

Okay, just posted to Seeker.org. BTW, I added the address to the post, so if anyone is spreading the word, don't forget to do include that!
Thanks for taking the lead on this Deacon.
PS -- I just posted this to Fan Forum as well.

Hello Crystal,
I'm not on Facebook, so I think that we need someone that is a member to post our information about Letters to Craig.

Thank you Azeri for doing this. The more letters and cards that we can get to him, the better. In the past Craig probably received fan mail in "waves", as much of his work was in television series. For example, playing Ash in "H2O", followed by fan mail. Playing Gary in "Blue Water High", followed by fan mail. I understand that there used to be an address provided by Disney/ABC in New Zealand while he was playing Richard in "LoTS". This is when fan mail seemed to be getting through to him on a regular basis, as the series was in ongoing production at that time. At least now we know where to write to him, and can keep the fan mail coming in more frequently. Of course we are now in the holiday season, but the next major occasion to write to Craig will be his birthday in January.

Thanks everyone....hopefully better late than never. Working on postcards for holidays to addresses listed in other thread and I'll get on this one..... I have been lost without Craig's enthusiasm, funny sense of humor and fantastic talent..... and oh so miss him as Richard... I looked forward to his directing debut. Hopefully it doesn't matter that it's not November and some of us are doing this in December??? Let me know if there is anything special to include for his birthday. Most of all I miss seeing him in interviews....he just made my day, every day..... Season I and Season II. Keep me posted everyone....thanks ras

Hello Derascal, It's never too late to send Craig letters and postcards. They can be "thank you", "thinking of you", "happy holidays", or in about a month, "happy birthday". Anything to let him know that the fans miss him, and are thinking about him, and working hard to bring the series back. Like you, I was looking forward to his directing debut. He will have his chance, just not as soon as we had hoped for. You may remember in interviews during the second season that he often seemed very tired? And who could blame him, Richard is in almost every single scene. And, he has to balance the drama with the physical demands of the role. Not that we wanted an entire season off, but hopefully this is giving him the chance to really rest and spend time with family and friends. He often mentioned how much he missed them in interviews. I think it is a pretty safe bet that Craig will spend the holidays at home with his family and friends, so let's keep the cards and letters coming. Each time that he visits his manager I hope that there is a bundle of fan mail waiting for him.

Speaking of Craig's family and friends, it's been mentioned in this topic a few times how Craig mentioned missing his family etc,. I haven't been able to find any interviews with him saying this so would some kind soul point me in the direction to these so I can catch up. Thank you!

I can point you to this board here. That's where we house all of our Craig interviews. As to which specific one it is where he talks about that I'm not sure. There's just too many to remember.

Thanks very much, and I certainly don't mind trolling thro them all to find that which I missed. And to another bit of help needed! ....I watched last night, yet again, the opening ep of season one with the commentary...love listening to Craig's voice...and they mentioned that when LOTS was first shown in the US the scene where Richard is named Seeker was a lot longer; apparently the two hour pilot had to be condensed down for the overseas market and re-runs. Sooooo, does anyone know where I could find the full version of the Seeker naming ritual please?

Glad to help! Hulu has the full, uncut version of Prophecy. It's not just the Seeker naming scene that was cut short, but they also cut Kahlan's awesome dagger throw on horseback (but left it in the previews!) as well as Zedd's words of assurance to Richard at the fallen bridge, after Ranson Fayne gets away. It really bugged me that they did (especially putting those edited versions on DVD - come on!!). It's just a few sentences, but to me they were quite powerful and just add more to the characters.
