"SaveOurSeeker" mentioned in the Q&A section of 'Yes Weekly' magazine for December 8th/2010
Question: Why did the ABC/Disney-produced “Legend of the Seeker” get canceled? There is a worldwide fan campaign (saveourseeker. com) that is working hard to get this beloved, high-fantasy show back for a third season. Have you heard anything about the show coming back? — Shirley T., Derby, Conn.
Answer: The internet is exploding with campaigns to save the show, as well as some well-placed rumors that the show might not be finished. Back in October, “Seeker” stars Craig Parker and Bruce Spence hinted at the fan gathering Ring-Con 2010 that the show might not be over, yet. Bruce stated, “I know that a lot of people think it’s dead, but it’s not.” While he might just be employing positive thinking, rumor has it that many alternative stations have been approached about picking up the show for its third season, including SyFy and BBC (both of which reportedly passed). For some fan-made videos, as well as other links to help save the show, check out craighorner.com (a fansite for the “Seeker” star).

We need to send photos of these on our postcards or with our letters when writing to potential networks. Help them to realize that this cancellation was not taken lightly, and that there is still great potential.

They need to know we're not happy and we're not going to take this!!

From Netflix Nation on Aug 29/2011:
Save Our Seeker
ABC’s Legend of the Seeker is available for streaming on NetFlix (USA). Unfortunately, there will be no third season, but that hasn’t stopped a grassroots fan movement aimed at pressing the case for an addition to the 44 episodes now available for streaming or purchase.
The series gets 3 stars out of 5 from the Netflix Nation. The second season is more violent than the first, and the production values are better, but the core of the show’s appeal remains: great chemistry between Craig Horner and the stunning Bridget Regan.
Legend of the Seeker follows Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth series through hundreds of hours of fantasy action and adventure. The Seeker gives viewers a pitched battle between good and evil, and a quest to prevent the master of the Underworld from destroying the Land of the Living.
Through this saga, there are plenty of twists and turns, and ‘deals with the devil,’ aka The Keeper. Think Faust meets Lord of the Rings. In fact, much of the series was filmed on location in the beautiful forests and mountain ranges of New Zealand.
Produced by Sam Raimi of Spiderman and Evil Dead fame, there is plenty of action and intrigue, though the show seems to be running out of steam toward the end of its run. Perhaps its best they go out in style with millions of fans recalling how sparkly Bridget Regan’s blue eyes are.
3/5 Stars
Available for streaming in the USA.
Parents cautioned due to some bloodshed and violence. No nudity or profanity, but some sexy leather-clad ninja assassins will make your day when they kiss late in season two!
