WoW, Craig was in a talkative mood and I loved it. It's so good to know he's out there and letting us know a little more about him.
Well, 7 more days and we'll know what the CW will do with JD, Hopping it'll be a new series.

Erich Bergen posted the hopeful message that I have listed above, unfortunately stories began to come in from official sources later in the day that The CW picked up 5 of the 8 pilots that it had ordered, and "Joey Dakota" is not one of them.  www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/cw-carrie-diaries-arrow-cult-first-cut-beauty-beast-323580I wonder if Craig was not hinting about this yesterday? Remember when he commented about not watching much TV because there is so much mediocre content out there, and how he wants to offer better quality material...and to shake things up a bit. (his words.) I am sorry to bring this news, I really, really want this series to get picked up, for Craig's sake and for ours as fans of his. So, what does this mean at this point? There is still a glimmer of hope. Although The CW officially announced it was picking up 5 of the new pilots, they have yet to officially say that they are not going to pick up "Joey Dakota". Their official Upfront is not until next week, so perhaps enough noise from the fans between now and then could possibly convince them to pick it up. Or, perhaps another cable station may decide to pick it up from The CW? MTV is producing several of it's own series now, including "Teen Wolf". Perhaps they may be interested? |
