I haven't a lot of time, so i'll make it quick: there is hope in the darkest of times. My resolve is stronger than iron, and we should keepm fighting to our last breath. we need to make some noise and be heard. Keep tweeting, emailing and petitioning (nicely) and maybe add in some ideas that will cut pricing or get other networks more interested and able to afford our show. there is still hope. i know that i will pimp with show til my last breath. we just need to focus our feelings in the right direction. Team Seeker has never given up; neither should we.

my emotions (well they may not be in that order) when I heard THE NEWS! Thanks Veronic for the email adds. I'm going to write in to petition. Let's remember not to send out angry emails, tweets etc as that will only make the people who will make that final decision upset. Be as nice and polite as possible. We are at their mercy.

I'm new to the board but I love LOTS and of course Kahlan & Richard are my fave in the show. All I have to say in this dark hour is that we all need to join forces and fight to get a 3rd season!! I'm tweeting as much as I can, I signed petitions, wrote emails and spread the word on Facebook! I've done everything I can and I've done it nicely. I think that if every fan does the same thing, we might be able to get somewhere. Maybe get a shortened 3rd season, but at least a 3rd season!!

BTW, I'm also ordering the DVD today

Good morning, Sir.

I am a 21 year old fan of ABC's 'Legend of the Seeker', and I am writing to you in regards to the possible cancellation of this wonderful show. I have watched this series from very nearly day one, and as it continued it soon became the highlight of my week to sit down on Saturday night and enjoy the newest episode. It is most definitely one of a kind storytelling, a true gem with awesome special effects, excellent storylines that leave me aching to know what will happen next, and characters I have connected with, laughed with, and yes, even cried with. It is really an awesome series that is so very different from the rest of what is on TV. I have come to treasure it dearly, as it allows me to escape from everyday life for one short hour as I join Richard and Kahlan in their quests. (And I think I might add here that I do not watch any other television series that is running now because they are all reality shows or do not capture my interest in the least. The last one that did that I watched with any kind of regularity was the WB's 'Angel', which ended in 2004.)

Despite the lack of promotion, of which Seeker deserves so much more of, I have told as many people as I can about it in hopes of showing others just what they're missing. I have also purchased the DVD set for season 1, have the DVD set for season 2 on the top of my wish list, downloaded the soundtrack from i-Tunes, and have shared my love for it with the many great friends I have had the honor of making through the online forum I am part of (The Confessor and Seeker Society, http://www.kahlanrichardlots.proboards.com). We are so saddened by the possibility of this great commonality existing no longer.

In closing, I would just like to let you know that there are many of us out here who love Seeker and that all of the hard work on every possible level that goes into making this show does not go unappreciated. We are dying to see more of our heroes - and villains - and having a season 3 would make a lot of people happy.

I sent this off earlier to Chandler Hayes (with DVD pic attached). I'm going to send out re-formatted letters with direct reasons for Season 3 etc, latter today. This was just to get the passion out there and known even more.


Firstly, Thank You, for the two wonderful seasons of," Legend of the Seeker," we did get. Cast, crew, writers, directors, EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, was just superb. That said, I was deeply saddened to hear of the news that, as of right now, "Seeker," will not be returning for a third season. I'm very disheartened to see this happen as it is such a fantastic show. Lately, it always seems like the shows I really, really love, never seem to last long enough. "Seeker," was a gem for me as it was wonderful to have/had, a fantasy show back on the air again. My Saturday afternoons will not be near as exciting next TV season, "Seeker," was hands down, my ultimate show. Anyhow, I'm still holding out hope that by some token of good fortune, the third time will be a charm. The fandom, me included, wants to make sure that our love for "Seeker," is known and how much we'll miss it. More over however, we aren't ready to completely give up just yet. Please stay with us! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please pass this on if you can.
