I had emailed to WGN America and got a response back - their box is a good place to start spamming.

Another point I believe has value is the parallel to NBC's blunder with original "Star Trek" in the '60s. The show was canceled partway through its third season, after suffering a crippling reduction in production budget. On numerous occasions after the fact, for years afterward, NBC executives admitted that this decision was a mistake they regretted.
Given that "LotS" has had poor publicity and, in spite of this, continues to grow in popularity and viewership as people discover it, failure to renew for a third season would also not be wise.
I cannot help but reflect that the poor economy has hurt "LotS" in that marketing support in the form of commercial merchandise does not exist. This failing has also cost widespread consumer awareness that the series exists.
My daughter has her college roommate hooked on LotS and word is spreading on campus. Most of these kids haven't even heard of "Legend of the Seeker" yet but when they do, they are watching regularly.
Good point about HBO's George R.R. Martin series adaptation. Why would the leading Fantasy show vanish just when other major entertainment producers are jumping on the train?!

How did you contact ABC/Disney?...I sent in some letters and postcards to them but since you got an actual reply I want to make sure I send some more in to the same address you sent yours.

I just signed the twitition thing and sent an email to the mail adress for the tribune (visible in a previous post).
About ABC I would like to write a letter too but as I'm French I fear it will take too much time by classic mail so where could I mail this letter to ABC ... anyone knows the email adress for that ? (thanks in advance)

If you wanted to send to individual WGN stations, the link in the twitter quote from my post has those listed individually. I think actual written letters would be good too - that address is also in my post above. Keep writing everyone!  |
