I've sent two letters in the past, but now am amping up my effort! I sent dried persimmons to Tribune Broadcasting (idea from Her Blue Eyes) with a note about how much we love Legend of the Seeker and how I feel with better advertisting/time slot it can get millions of more viewers. I also sent another postcard to ABC yesterday. About to email WGN and others provided. Oh! And make sure to keep buying iTunes episodes if you guys haven't already.. I have two more to purchase and will be up to date! We're not going down without a fight, that's for sure.

I sent a letter about 3 weeks ago to Disney and got a 3D card back a few days ago. I will write Tribune tonight.
Disney-ABC Domestic TV 500 So. Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA 91521 ATT: Legend of the Seeker
I do believe that if they were filming here in the States, they would've put more publicity into it. They would've gotten more noticed for sure.

I got to say I just wrote a letter to Tribune and really out did myself. I am sure they will be kicking themselves if they don't pick it up for a 3rd season. If they had a better time slot they could get millions more viewers.
I will really miss this show if the worst happens. I am sure that Craig will do other things, as all the others, but I really enjoy this series very much.

source‘Legend of the Seeker’ Season 3 Danger AlertLegend of the Seeker is at risk of not being renewed Here we go again. It seems every few months there’s a fantastic television show on the verge of cancellation while a gazillion terrible shows continue to be given life after life. The news that just surfaced via this tweet is that Legend of the Seeker season 3 is on shaky ground because one of the stations that picks up the show is itself on financial shaky ground. The story goes that Tribune, who are a major broadcaster of Legend of the Seeker, may pull the plug on broadcasting and if they do Disney will pull the plug on production. I’ve previously written than in my view renewal of the show is a given, basing my opinion purely on the quality of the show, its enormous and rabid fan base, and solid ratings given a serious lack of active marketing. Even Ausiello agrees. To think that it may not get renewed because of the financial woes of a broadcaster is a complete travesty, but there’s still hope. Bridget Regan fan site Her Blue Eyes have jumped on to this news and are championing action. If you want to see a third season of Legend of the Seeker, then I highly suggest you head on over there and do everything they suggest. Will writing letters and buying DVD’s etc really help? Well Mike Sussman, the writer/producer of the show, says yes it will. Since no final decision will be made until May we’ve got around two months left to bombard the powers that be with letters, complaints, pleading requests and so on to the point where they’ll simply cave in to the stress of it all. Hop to it. ### Keep writing those emails and letters! EDIT: New Tweet WrittenByMikeS @lots_SPOILERS TPTB have to decide by a date in June (I believe) when actors' contracts expire. Would expect them to decide long b4 then.

I have a good idea (I think) for fan video well. we make a fan video with ourselves .. so. each person talk about "that tvshow" (OMG!!) *crazy* ex: "I want season 3" then, send it to the person in charge of finalizing the video isn't a good idea? I want to cry I don't know what to do..the letters and e-mails aren't working..

well all my letter are written to WGN Pres and all the affiliates. that dude is getting a pound o'persimmons and he is going to like it. i also wrote a nice little argument as to why LotS is going to be big next year thanks to "Game of Thrones" coming out. Guys feel free to take any/all of this part of my letter. it shows how they basically would be idiots to cancel it now when fantasy shows are going to be huge this time next year and they will be screwing themselves out of the benefits. nicely of course. If you will indulge me for a moment I will make a strong case as to why your company should renew “Legend of the Seeker” for a third season. As you may know HBO has recently green-lit a full season for a new series called “Game of Thrones” based on the best-selling popular series by GRR Martin to air in the winter of 2011. There is already tremendous buzz around this fantasy show, and it is not hard to see that this show could be a hit on the level of “True Blood.” So why does this news about a cable company’s show have anything to do with “Legend of the Seeker?” A lot if looked at from a marketing perspective. This genre of television is on the precipice of exploding into pop culture. Already it is more mainstream then ever before thanks to the “Lord of the Rings” and “Harry Potter” films, and yes even the current vampire craze. It has become a more approachable genre for viewers and it is without a doubt growing.
Should your company not renew “Legend of the Seeker” I truly think it will be to your detriment ultimately. Currently “Legend of the Seeker” stands apart as being the only true fantasy on television and is the fore-runner for the genre. Should “Games of Thrones” prove to be popular, like I believe it will, it will lead new viewers to check out similar shows in the genre: which would be “Legend of the Seeker.” Online resources such Netflix, Amazon.com, itunes and many more already have features such as “if you like this, then check out that.” I can see “Legend of the Seeker” coming up in many more searches and gaining new viewers as a result. Not to mention that “Legend of the Seeker” will be an infinitely more friendly choice for families who don’t want their children watching a show with a MA-rating.
Lastly, I would like to point out of a fairly recent show getting cancelled before its time, and in hindsight proving to be a mistake for a network. CBS aired “Moonlight” a series about a vampire. While it had so-so ratings it had a decent fan following; however, after one season it was cancelled. Soon after that the vampire craze sparking from “Twilight” took hold with films and several television shows, including the hits “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries.” The stations that air these shows are receiving the benefits of this popular genre, while CBS missed out on potential revenue had it given “Moonlight” another chance. That is what I am asking you to do: Give “Legend of the Seeker” another chance. I am sure by this time next year the revenue for yourcompany will be seen in the form of increased viewers.
