I had a convo with Mike S earlier today and he was very clear that decisions are being made RIGHT NOW so if there's going to be a plan of attack I believe we can't have much more than a week left in which to make ourselves heard. There's very little time to get complex.
We've got loads of addresses. My best suggestions is that we send letters/postcards asap that use the same design so the impact is unified and recognizable.

Alright well if that's the case we need a form letter NOW. Start drafting them up today people! I found this email address. It doesn't look like there is one for Disney/ABC - so this would likely be the best one for us to spam: abc.go.com/site/contact-us

Gems - usually they mean by that suggestions for new series, etc.
I'm going to try to see if I can get us a better email address for Disney/ABC...I'm waiting on an answer for us.
This is a letter that I just drafted for mailing purposes for DISNEY/ABC:
To Ms. Anne Sweeney,
Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I wanted to personally thank you for providing us with quality family television programming, specifically the wonderful fantasy series, LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, based on the novels by Terry Goodkind. I applaud your decision to bring fantasy back to television and wanted to thank your company for giving the series a bit more of a budget this year to further flesh out Mr. Goodkind’s rich world.
I greatly enjoy this unique series that stands out like a glimmering jewel in the landscape of cookie cutter procedural cop & medical dramas. Shot in New Zealand LEGEND OF THE SEEKER doesn’t look like any other show on TV and it is easy as a fan of the show to get swept away for an hour each week into a magical world of beauty and wonder. The characters are rich, wonderfully acted, and the storytelling is brilliantly crafted. I look forward every weekend to watching each new episode and I would be saddened if it wasn’t on the air.
With fantasy television having been gone for so long, LEGEND OF THE SEEKER is still in its infancy and continues to gain new viewers who immediately get hooked. The show will only continue to gain more fan momentum the longer that it stays on the air. I would greatly appreciate your consideration for allowing the series to continue for a third season. The writers and producers have a wealth of material to draw from considering that they have eleven books by author Terry Goodkind to pull inspiration from. And I am certain that another season will allow the writers to craft an even richer world for us to enjoy and the series will only continue to further grow its fanbase.
Season 2 so far has been even better than the first and I fully believe that the show is just hitting its stride. Please allow for the amazing cast, writers, and creative staff that produce this series the opportunity to continue to work on providing us with more LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. Please be sure to add LEGEND OF THE SEEKER to the 2010-2011 television schedule for next year. This fan promises to do everything in her power to be sure to get the word out and bring more viewers to the series and allow it’s fanbase to strengthen even further.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Erika Blake

This is the letter that I sent to my local affiliate in Phoenix:
To Mr. Demopolous:
Thank you for taking the time to read my email. I wanted to personally thank you for providing us with quality television programming, specifically the wonderful syndicated fantasy series, LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, based on the novels by Terry Goodkind.
I look forward every weekend to watching each new episode on KASW and I would be saddened if it wasn’t on the air.
Season 2 so far has been even better than the first and I fully believe that the show is just hitting its stride. I sincerely hope that your network decides to renew the show for a season 3 to share it with fans like myself all over the valley.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Erika Blake

It is ok if we use the format of your letters as a bit of a template? As in structurally.

I figured so. Just wanted to make sure. Just got an idea, we should the classic S.O.S as . Save Our Seeker I really like that idea. With a syndicated show like this sending a letter or even calling the local channel that carries the show goes a long way. I haven't been able to get anyone to confirm the proper email address to use for the show since it's not owned by ABC proper. Looks like old school letters and phone calls might be the best approach. We'll be recording another podcast tonight so we'll be sure and discuss the importance of getting everyone involved. Thanks, Kevin

Just wrote an email to my local station. I've already written to ABC but haven't yet sent a letter to my local station - I will do that today. I'm also buying the episodes on iTunes I haven't purchased yet to up the numbers on that. I wonder if they take things like how it's majorly popular at hulu.com into account or anything like that?

I'm sure purchasing the episodes on iTunes has some impact but I don't think the number of Hulu views are all that important since that's not a real revenue stream for the show. Kevin
