We've done it! 1000 Conseekadores! I've been waiting for this for quite some time now. I remember joining in the 200's...and here we are, half a year later and going strong, with only one season of LotS under our belts and much more fabulous things to come our way. What an accomplishment! I gotta give a big thanks to all my fellow members, an even bigger thanks to my fellow staff for helping out and keeping things running smoothly, and the hugest thanks ever to Erika for everything! Here's to future success - and the countdown to 2000! ;D

Oh! That's right. Makes sense now. And yes. It definitely applies well. I have a season of X-Files...but I've never watched it before. Seriously! All-around angst galore! It's contagious! I think we'll all have cardiac arrests once we get some RST... Thanks for the clarification.

There are seriously new members every time I check into this thread! Which is awesome! zooey - Your English is perfectly legible. No worries! (I'm learning French right now, and I'm liking it. I understand it pretty well, considering this is my first year taking the class.) I'm impressed that you've been able to learn English from the TV. The only thing I can learn from TV language-wise is accents. We all agree with you! The story of Richard and Kahlan is absolutely magical and amazing. I recommend reading the books. While they're different from the show in many ways, they each open new doors to Richard and Kahlan's world. I want to go to New Zealand in a bad way... mightydana - A friend of Extremis' is a friend of ours. One week?! Awesome! I did something like that once. I watched an entire season of a show in three days... That was intense... I think I know the answer to this, but I was wondering if you could clarify this for me: What does UST mean? Oh yeah. Richard and Kahlan's relationship is full of angst. Defmost. spreeuwtje - I'm glad you've made your introduction! I was the same way. I saw the show online, watched it, went out and bought the books, and now it's a part of my life. I'm so crazy that I bought the season pass from iTunes and have every episode on my iPod, just in case I need a LotS fix wherever I may be. You, too, are just fine with your English. I don't think you have anything to worry about. To make a long post short: Welcome, Newbies! We're glad to have you here and I'm sure you'll enjoy it! ;D

You're quite welcome. I love that word, too. The term "Conseekadores" was decided for this forum many months ago... It's rather catchy, if you ask me. You won't be disappointed, then. This forum is a very comfortable, supportive and kind environment. All the users here are respectful to each other, and it makes me a proud member to say such.

I haven't been an avid welcoming committtee member... At any rate, I want to give a shout-out to the newest CSS members, Andrea Melissa and bloodrage! Welcome to the world of Conseekadoredom!

The woman who plays Cara looks like a sweet girl... Of course, I doubt she will be in character. I get the feeling from these pics that we're gonna feel really sorry for Kahlan... In her pics with Rahl, she seems to be in Mother Confessor mode, which I think is awesome. She's probably going through a really hard time, but she's keeping her composure and maintaining her air of authority. Girl power!

This is a wonderful idea, ForeverRose! ;D (Sorry that I didn't get back to you fast enough about it.) I'm so glad that CSS is starting to spread. The more places it's shown around the web, the more hits we'll get and the more people will know about it. Facebook is an excellent place for that.

There are new folks hopping in here almost every time I browse the thread! I give a warm welcome to Andrea, Leslie, Carol and Sarah! glugug - Who can't love the R/K chemistry? And I'm a fan of Bridget Regan now. She is a fantastic choice to play our beloved Mother Confessor Kahlan and I always applaude her enthusiasm and dedication to her part. And she's a good actress in general. I can see why you compare them to Harry and Hermione, I think... They share an intellectual bond as well as a strong friendship. (I was a Harmony shipper for a time... Now I'm kind of on the fence.) lesliem - What you just said in your introduction is part of what makes CSS so awesome! As an entity, we're generally willing to accept the show and the books as they are, despite the obvious differences. There are folks out there who bash it for a variety of reasons - mostly for how much it strays from the series - but the folks who can appreciate it for its differences rather than criticize them are the ones with good sense. carolannw5 - ITA! brownlees - I've been plenty busy myself, as of late... WFR is truly one of those books you just can't put down once you've started it. I know I couldn't. I hardly slept and powered through it in three days. I hope you all enjoy this community! We're a pretty cordial and fun-loving group of people from all around the world.

The pictures are awesome! I'm psyched! (Well, that's not particularly special... I get psyched for every ep. ) [book spoilers] Does anyone else get reminded of near the end of Stone of Tears with these pics? The council in Aydindril that got taken over by that one badass dude who sentences Kahlan to death, and Richard comes in and massacres them all? (To which we all gave a little cheer.) [/book spoilers]

Welcome, elyon64! Your English seems fine thus far. I wouldn't worry much about it. I'm currently studying French. I love the language. We're glad to have you here! I hope to see your theories and videos around the board. Feel free to make your own thread in the Richard and Kahlan Theatre area. Glad to see you've introduced yourself, ILoveAllanADale.

Is it? Hm. Sounds right. I should know. I have all the books lined up on a shelf... Woe is me. My unintentional method for reading SotS is to power through somewhere between 100 and 200 pages, then take a break for a few weeks, then pick it up again for another 100 pages, then stop, then either another break or I'll just finish it. WFR was the only one I was consistent with. Read the whole thing in three days. *cheers* A Great White Way fan! YAY! ;D I'm hoping to see Wicked when it comes around for its upcoming tour. I think it's this year...but idk for sure. I haven't seen the show yet, but many of my friends have and they all think it's AHMAZING. I have the sheet music and the OBCR. Love it all. And I've read the book. Thought it was great, too, though my preference is the show. (Uh oh. You've got me on a Broadway ramble! lol!) I'm wearing one of my Spring Awakening t-shirts as I type, actually...to emphasize my Bway-ness. And you're welcome for the...welcome.

Thy shalt ne'er speak of thee having done naught, Erika. (Random Shakespearean reply. No idea what the purpose or reason is.) Karma coming your way! These pics are great! Craig is adorkable as ever. It's great to see him looking amazingly mantastic, droolworthy and like the seriously drop-dead gorgeous hunk he is in his relatively normal attire and as something besides Richard. Who wants to get a time machine and go to LA four days ago?!
