1. What is it about 'Legend of the Seeker' that you find so compelling that you're willing to support the Save Our Seeker campaign (example: character, a theme, the story line, etc.)?
What I find so compelling about Legend of the Seeker, is the atmosphere that all the main characters create, when they all come together in a time of peril they rise with their individual strengths and together conquer what ever forces may be encountered, Richard Cypher is a man of high Intellect and Strength, through each series he learns the truth about the world, and shapes him into a fine man, which in my personal experience helps me, the viewer understand the series more greatly and my own life.
2. What scene(s) from 'The Sword of Truth' novels is/are a "must have" should 'Legend of the Seeker' come back for a 3rd season?
Some definite scenes I would love to see from The Sword of Truth novels are: 1) When Richard and Kahlan get married in the Mud Peoples Village and Kahlan is wearing that blue dress that Richard absolutely loves. 2) The Temple of the Winds, where Kahlan is to believed to be having sexual intercourse with Richard's brother, only to find out it was in fact, Richard.

I had a lot of trouble putting these book`s down. The times when I did were times when I absolutely could not stand the torture being put on characters I loved.
This was a wonderful, character-driven series that had me on the edge of my seat. Every single character lived and breathed with his or her own personality, and there wasn't a weak character in the batch. The good guys were "so" good and so charismatic that at times I had to get up and walk away because I couldn't stand what was happening to them anymore, the bad guys were "so" bad that I rejoiced when bad things happened to them. I have no problem with black and white, and there was no doubt in this one who the good guys and bad guys were. 2. What scene(s) from 'The Sword of Truth' novels is/are a "must have" should 'Legend of the Seeker' come back for a 3rd season?
Where do i start?? There are so many! The main one for me is the Emporer Jagang storyline. I mean thats how the books concluded so that`s how the series should too.

Here's my entry!!
1. What I find compelling about Legend of the Seeker is... Well in all honesty, it's a number of things. I love the originally of the show and its ability to take us on a new adventure and how it got better and better with every episode. I feel like the show made the characters more real and relatable, which let's be honest, it's hard to find that quality in television anymore. Also, the cast... Wow. The cast captured our hearts and I truly believe that those people who didn’t witness it, missed out. If we had another season, we could share this world, this love and what I've come to think of as a family. People deserve that.
2. A Scene (or scenes) that I want to see in Season 3: It's a little difficult to say, because there are so many and there are even more doors that can be opened up with just a single one of them, but I would really, seriously flip to see the Mud People and the Spirit House... I think that it would certainly add more depth to the show and not only draw in more viewers, but give us all a chance to see some of our favorite moments brought to life.

1. Legend of the Seeker is my favorite tv show! I can't say I look up to anyone I know in real life, but in LotS, we have so many good role models, Richard is amazing!! I want to see as much of the books as possible on tv! Craig Horner is perfect playing Richard! There are so many bad shows on tv, so this show, which is absolutely fantastic/super/great, should definetively be airing! I'd say everything in the show is compelling, it's so well made! The world, the theme, the storyline, everything is well figured out. You get a deep relation to the characters and you want to be sure that they'll be fine before the series end, I want to see Richard marry Kahlan and Cara marry the D'Haran officer. That's why I think you should support Save our Seeker: because it just can't end before the ending, there are so many more adventures to tell first. Please let us see Richard saving the world a few more times!!<3 2. There must be a third season!! In this season I'd love to see Kahlan fighting the Imperial Order, it was after she killed all those men in the camp by herself that I started to admire her as much as I admire Richard. I saw her in a new light after this, a strong leader and someone I'd like to be like. I really enjoyed reading about how she and the army killed those stupid, cruel men. It would be so cool being able to watch it on tv, when the camp catches fire and Kahlan is chased in the snowy forest, it'd make a very good looking scene! I'd also like there to be more about Verna, I really like her in the books! And I'd love to see Richard taking over the Midlands and D'Hara. Adie should get a bigger part as well, even though she has an important role in the books, she is barely in the show. The story of how the Blood of the Fold killed Pell should be told, it's so sad! And the Mud People should be in as well, it was exciting when Prindin turned on them, since I wasn't expecting it to happen! I could keep on going, but I guess these are the most important scenes I'd like to have in season 3! <3:) I love the books and the tv series, it would be amazing being able to see a third season!

I find Legend of the Seeker so compelling because of Richard's awesome fighting skills, honesty, integrity and wisdom. He has already proven these by saving the Midlands fromth boxes of Orden, Drken Rahl, sealed the Veil and stopped the keeper of the underworld from sending his evil into the world by finding the stone of tears. His friends, Zedd and Kahlan, as well as Cara, are uch a great help to him and respect his wisdom and judgement and know he will never dessert them because he is a man of honor. The story is fascinating nd riveting, even though it differs from the books, which are just as awesome, and you want the episode to go on forever. You get lost in this world, and so involved with the characters that they are now family! My favourite book is Faith of the Fallen. The story of how Richard is forced to leave Kahlan and travel with Nicci to the Old World, where everyone is so suppressed. In this time, he manages to teach people to still work hard, take care of the places they live in and earns the love and respect f many. He maintains his love and faithfulness to Kahlan, because his love is stronger than the evil around him. In this awful, miserable world he lives in, carving horrible statues ll day, he sill finds the time to create the most beautiful and inspiring statue ever seen there and he risks his life so others can see beauty, even as he knows it will not be there fr long and he will most rob ably die for his disobedience. His courage to share this beauty is inspiring, and helps one to see that even in bad times, there is love and beauty in the world.

What I find compelling is that it is the theme of heroes and truly living life to the fullest. These are not grey anti-heroes, but characters that inspire me everyday. I constantly quote the show and books. The quote "think of the solution and not the problem" has even helped me teach my daughter problem solving with social issues at her school. Richard is the one character in all of fiction that I can relate with completely.
2. What scene(s) from 'The Sword of Truth' novels is/are a "must have" should 'Legend of the Seeker' come back for a 3rd season?
A flashback to show Zedd putting up the barriers in A Debt of Bones.

My entry by Margaret Potts: The Legend of the Seeker puts life to Terry Goodkind’s Books. I enjoy seeing my favorite characters in real life, such as Cara, Zedd, and Kahlan. The show gives that connection of knowing the characters who have become the reader’s best friends. It is nice to pop in The Legend of The Seeker, and share Terry Goodkind’s writing with non-readers who would enjoy the story but will not read the books. On the other hand, watching The Legend of the Seeker is a great way to pass time while waiting for Terry’s next book. I do enjoy the alternate stories of “what ifs” that the show has included. For instance, what would Richard do about the male confessor, Cara having children and being happy, Kahlan marrying Darken Rahl were intriguing stories. Although I do not like the show straying from Terry’s work, I cannot say that I did not enjoy the alternate stories. I definitely would love to see a third season and support the campaign.
Even though the creators of The Legend of the Seeker TV show have butchered the books, there are so many stories left that three more seasons would be a piece of cake. Richard and Kahlan overcoming the confessor’s magic to be together must happen! An alternate story of the blood of the fold would salvage the show and begin the battle with Jagang. To make things right again, Jagang captures Nicci and just when things seem hopeless she would find out about the bond, give Richard his magic back, and he would claim the D’Hara Empire to protect the people from Jagang. Then the show would tie into the fourth book, when Jagang sends the assassin to kill Richard. A whole show (or two) could be about Ja La, the game of life. The wedding to Kahlan is an absolute must! The story of Kahlan being pregnant, not telling Richard, and the terrible ending of that would make a great fourth season. The recovery is necessary because this is so sad viewers need to see the complete and absolute love Richard and Kahlan share at this point. There are so many stories left untold, “the show must go on!” The fans are out there, the stories are not over, and Terry deserves the honor of having his books completed on screen.

What I find compelling about Legend of the Seeker is that when you read the whole Sword of Truth series it takes your imagination to a whole new world. Every book is non stop action and to see it on tv is just amazing! No other series in the world could match what Terry Goodkind has done with The Sword of Truth!
What I want to see in the season 3 and the possible many more to follow is Richard's on going fight with Jagang and the Order. Once Jagang got into mix it got more suspenseful. I couldn't wait till the next book came out to see what was going to happen. I hope season 3 gets picked up because I love all the books and can't wait to see them on TV!!!!

What i believe was great enough about legend of the seeker to keep it going was the fact that it tells us another version of the story of Richard and Kahlan. It is in many ways not the same world or have the same rules as the novels did, so the show gives us a different twist to the novels that we as fans should be able to enjoy. A must have scene would definetly have to be Richard going back to D'Hara and reuniting his people as the Lord Rahl, that would have to be a must have if the show came on for a third season

1. What is it about 'Legend of the Seeker' that you find so compelling that you're willing to support the Save Our Seeker campaign (example: character, a theme, the story line, etc.)? I just love watching Kahlan and Richard, no matter what they are doing! I really LOVE watching Richard blossom into the man he truly is, as well as watching Kahlan discover what it means to fall in love regardless of who she is. Who wouldn't love watching a show based on the most fantastic books in this century?!! 2. What scene(s) from 'The Sword of Truth' novels is/are a "must have" should 'Legend of the Seeker' come back for a 3rd season? I haven't gotten a chance to watch the end of the second season yet but I hope beyond belief that I can see how Kahlan teaches the young boys of Ebinssia attack and win against Jang-ang's army that destroyed their town! Especially when she paints herself white! I just love the books and the show! There are some significant differences but that really doesn't matter to me As long as the basic principals are there I love it!!!

Save the Legend of the Seeker - YES! But Legends are based on stories and the Sword of Truth series is one of the best fantasy stories ever written. The characters, the plots the scenes - it is all there and that is why the books have been bestsellers. The show got away from the story and that is why the legend failed. The fan base is there, bring it back revamped and stick to the story. Don't try and fix what isn't broke. The stories are darker, more realistic and more adult than the show was. Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings have stuck to the story and they are hits. The female characters in the show are beautiful and strong as in the books. Richard just seemed too young and not as large and imposing as that of a war wizard, and this is one of the most important people to get right. Nothing is wrong with an overhaul or character changes. Look at the latest Batman and spiderman movies. They went back to the essence of the stories (dark and realistic) and even with lead character changes they are phenomenal. You ask what is compelling about the Legend of the Seeker, for me it is the fact that it is the stories brought to life. You want to know what scenes should be seen, I say all of them. They work and have sold millions and developed a huge fan base. You will have a hit show on your hands if you bring it back and stay true to an awesome story.

I love sword and sorcery stories and 'Legend of the Seeker' satisfied that appetite. The best part is that the show presented the fantastical parts seriously and not for laughs. There are more than enough fantasy shows that winks at itself that 'Seeker' came across as refreshing. The main characters are also well-developed with their own motivations. Richard has a good heart but also makes mistakes, Kahlan is all about duty but sometimes gives in to her emotions, the wise Zedd has moments of indecision, and even the ruthless Cara has innocent and childlike qualities - many of aspects to relate to. The characters are really the reason I want the show to come back because there are many more adventures to tell specially since the villainous Darken Rahl and a very powerful Nicci are alive by the end of season 2. There are numerous ways to pull concepts from Goodkind's books and integrate it to the show's established rules. As for a scene I want included from the books, after Darken Rahl is finally defeated and stays dead, it would be Richard and Kahlan's simple wedding with Cara and Zedd as witnesses. The wedding's venue can be at the Minders' village as a substitute for the Mud People. Meanwhile, Emperor Jagang takes over the Palace of the Prophets so he can have eternity trying to rid the world of magic.

It doesn't take a Wizard of the First Order to know that bad TV has burnt out more young minds than Wizard's fire. What's the antidote? In the opinion of this veteran teacher, shows like the clever, critically acclaimed Legend of the Seeker are just the sort of heartwarming, family fare that is so sadly missing from current network line-ups. The show had it all including a charismatic cast, adrenaline pumping action sequences, and state of the art special effects. But that's not the best part - the best part is the story. Like all great fairy tales, the magic and the myths in this enchanted realm are often metaphors disguised, mirroring our own world and offering us a safe place to explore our darkest fears and fantasies. Perhaps my favorite episode from Season 1 was The Puppeteer. I loved it so much that I chose to share it with my 120 6th grade students as part of our unit on fantasy and fairytales. The children were instantly engaged by the petulant Princess Violet, the resourceful waif Rachel, the devious (yet always dashing) Darken and the wise and witty Zedd. As the credits rolled they broke into wild applause and clamored for more. As I prepared the lesson I realized several important features of the show: 1) It used very challenging vocabulary (I had to pre-teach words like insolence, discerning, exasperation and etiquette) 2) It was a great way to develop critical thinking skills (Why did Zedd flatter Princess Violet even when he abhorred everything she represented? What did Zedd mean by "If the roast looks too big to eat cut it in half?" 3) It had a positive moral and women who were more than eye candy for men but strong warriors for good in their own right 4) It left with a cliffhanger so it was perfect for a creative writing assignment Some of the characters/situations I would have liked to see explored in Season 3 would be:
1) Richard's adoption of the baby Gar, Gratch 2) Brophy the valiant, talking wolf 3) The epic rematch between Princess Violet and Rachel 4) The rise of the Blood of the Fold and the battle against magic 5) More Palace of the Prophets' intrigue
