Here is my entry! Thank you for the opportunity!
There are many concepts of ‘Legend of the Seeker’ that are compelling. The three most compelling concepts that I fell in love with are: that the opinions of others have little effect on you, the importance of friends, and personal growth. For example, in the second season, there was a prophecy that stated that Richard would help, the Keeper. Richard began to believe this terrifying prophecy was true, he thought he would betray his friends, and help the Keeper. However, through the help of Zedd and Khalan, Richard began to defy this prophecy. Nonetheless, Richard was continuously told this prophecy would come true. Despite the opinions of others, Richard continued on his quest. He no longer cared what people told him, or said about him. In doing so, he saved the world from another great evil. The next reason why ‘Legend of the Seeker,’ is so compelling is the importance of friends. In the above example, Zedd and Khalan, helped Richard regain his self-confidence, a vital tool for a leader. Also, through the guidance of his friends Richard was able to slay Darken Rhal, in the first season. He used the help of this friend, Zedd’s, lessons to aid him. Zedd also teaches Richard to be patient, a quality that Richard lacked when he first became Seeker. The final concept is personal growth. Between the two seasons, one character had an immense amount of growth, Cara. When Cara was first introduced, she was a cruel Mord-Sith, violently and mercilessly killing others. Once she teamed up with Richard, Khalan, and Zedd, she became more compassionate. She expressed her emotions, helped others, and in general, became a softer person. ‘Legend of the Seeker,’ has many other aspects that are beautiful, making this show a joy to watch. It provides watchers with lessons, important lessons that can benefit them for the rest of their lives.
There are a many scenes that are a “must have,” should Legend of the Seeker come back to television. However, there is a main scene/concept that is dire. What happened after the veil in the Earth, was “sown,” back up? In the, Blood of the Fold, there are new forces that threaten the New World. Fans of the books and show must have the chance to bring these awful forces come to life, through their television screens. We need to experience these forces in 3D. Are they worse than Darken Rhal? The Keeper? Readers of the novels can picture them in their minds, though, the actual experience, with a cast and computer technology can enhance the experience. We have to see the progression of evil. This general scene is necessary should this fantastic and captivating show return.

Legend of the Seeker is a powerful and inspiring tale that gives strength and inspiration to many people around the world. I would support the Save our seeker 100% to bring back this amazing treasure filled with examples of priceless values, the strength of love, and finding strength and courage even in the darkest of hours.
If Legend of the Seeker is aired for another season I think the season should include Richard's journey to becoming accepting of being Lord Rahl, as well as him coming to terms with being “bonded” with the people, in order to protect them from the dreamwalker. Also last but not least, Richards friendship that is formed with the Mord Sith, and the values they learn from him.

What is it about 'Legend of the Seeker' that you find so compelling that you're willing to support the Save Our Seeker campaign (example: character, a theme, the story line, etc.)?“Legend of the Seeker” gives everyone what we all need in our daily lives- hope. This show tells a story of good conquering evil. Many of us deal with our own evil and hope can be a lost cause. Even though “Legend of the Seeker” is based off a fantasy world with strong characters, the lessons can still be applied in today’s modern society. Each fan has a character or characters they can relate to, and use the strength they see in those characters in their own lives. Few shows exist today where no matter your age, sex, or race you can still find meaning and optimism.

What scene(s) from 'The Sword of Truth' novels is/are a "must have" should 'Legend of the Seeker' come back for a 3rd season?For any “Legend of the Seeker” fan the wedding of Richard and Kahlan will be a must. Love conquering the strongest magic deserves a celebration, with the two heroes who discovered the possibility with their enduring love. The other scene that is a “must have” is the transformation of Sister of the Dark, Nicci. In the books she discovers life due to Richard. This discovery causes her to make an amazing transformation, turning her into the sorceress we came to love and admire. |

In answer to these prompts I have this to offer! When I discovered Legend of the Seeker over two years ago, I was struck by the beauty and power of its female characters. While I’ve heard many others bemoan the loss of Legend of the Seeker and subsequently the female role models it offered to its viewers, I fear it is not fully comprehended how desperately such role models are needed today. When I stumbled across this show I was coming out of many years of being taught that women are less capable, less respected, and less valuable than men. By the time I finished watching the series and developing a connection to Kahlan, Cara, and even Nicci and Denna, I was drawn quickly to the Sword of Truth books where I discovered not only more incredible women whose stories empowered and inspired me, but I saw a new depth to the women Legend of the Seeker had introduced me to – a depth that could not be plumbed in a mere two seasons. The journey of Nicci’s self-discovery and eventual decision to serve only herself rather than a supernatural power she could not relate to is immediately relatable. Kahlan’s journey of becoming comfortable with her powers as a Confessor and with the idea of being able to love when she felt cut off from it forever gives us hope in a world where we frequently feel rejected, feared, and unable to trust. Cara’s eventual transformation from a seemingly heartless assassin to the loving wife of a General in the D’Haran army is touching, and her wedding at the end of the final book in the series brought tears to my eyes. I hope someday Legend of the Seeker can be brought back, and women like I am, girls like I was, and girls like my daughters will be someday can have the fuller, richer stories of these brave, strong women. |

i find the whole series to be compelling, as are the books. although the show doesnt follow the books to a T it is still highly entertaining to see the characters ive grown to love go threw more adventures.
when i first heard of the show i was worried how Craig (the actor who portrays Richard) would do, but in the end he caught me, got me to his side. Kahlan was good from the start, although she should of had green eyes, not blue =) anyways. the series may not be perfect, but it does what it sets out to do. entertain pepole who simply love the Sword of truth series, and it does that well.

things i would love to see in season 3 would be, but not limited to. Mud pepole story arc like many others. Richards journey threw the blood of the fold, his journey into the temple of winds, more with Cara definetly. all mord sith, showing there humanity. at the end of the day though, they could make fillers and i would still watch, just to be apart of the midlands for a brief time =)

I am compelled to Legend of the Seeker for many different reasons. One reason is that it allows me, and other viewers, to escape the "real" world and just enjoy fantasy. We live in a time where a lot of corruption is going on all around us and by watching Legend of the Seeker, it helps us, at least me, by seeing that no matter how hard times may be, good always comes out on top. With Legend of the Seeker, I see that although it is hard to make decisions and it is sometimes hard to see that there is still a light on around the corner that the journey's destination will arrive and everything will be okay...every time. There are so many TV shows on air that are very mindless. Legend of the Seeker had a plot. It is adapted for a very successful book series by a great author so it obviously has a great story handed to the directions, producers, etc. I love the feelings I get from each show. The adrenaline during pivotal moments and the refreshing relief when the gang wins and all is well in the world.

The long awaiting wedding scene between Richard and Kahlan is a definite MUST HAVE when the series picks back up. We have went through two whole seasons and see the battles Richard and Kahlan have made to keep each other safe. We have also seen the faithfulness between the two's love for each other. Even though for a short while, they thought they could never be together, but their love for one another was so strong and true that they made their own rules and were going to find a way to be together no matter what "traditions" said. Therefore, the wedding scene is a must for viewers to experience the moment when they can become one.

I found the storyline to be the main thing that drew me in like a moth to a flame. As well as the genres behind the series like romance, fantasy, adventure...action. The battle between good and evil...also the lessons you can learn and use in your everyday life, making you a better person. I love it all, even the characters both good and evil. I wanted to help the SOS campaign because there is so much more that can be done with the story, and with the characters. So I will stand with the other fans of 'Legend of the Seeker' on fighting for a 3rd season.

I am sure someone or everyone may have already answered with this answer; Richard and Kahlan are finally able to get together I want the wedding scene and I would love to see the spirit house scene play out too. As well as Benjamin Meiffert coming into the 'TV series', I really want Cara to have someone since she lost Leo.
