NEW Tweetathon on Friday, February 3rd/2012, 12 Noon to 2 PM Pacific Time
To celebrate Bridget Regan's Birthday,
This time, we will be tweeting the Hashtag #BridgetReganBirthday
(We've previously already trended #BridgetRegan, so twitter won't let it trend again: savetheseeker.wordpress.com/2010/05/09/legend-of-the-seeker-fans-trend-bridget-regan-to-top-10/ )
This Twitter Event will be focused between 12 Noon Pacific Time to 2 PM Pacific Time.
(check your timezone here: www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html )
Laura of SOS will set-up a specific time zone converter soon.
Supposedly, if we also start tweeting a couple of minutes before the set time of 12 Noon PT, there's a better chance of jump-starting the trend, so please give that a try too.
(and if Seekers want to stick around after 2 PM PT, of course that's great too )

Here are some guidelines for the #BridgetReganBirthday Tweetathon
* Please Don’t use the hash-tag #BridgetReganBirthday at all in any tweets until Friday, February 3rd/2012 at 12Noon PT.
-Why?
The more people that suddenly “rapid-fire” a newer topic, the more likely the topic is to reach the top trends list, which is our goal.
* Twitter only counts ONE hash tag per Tweet. So ONLY use the one hashtag of #BridgetReganBirthday (If you use more than one hashtag ( #) , none of them will count.
* Do NOT swear/curse in your tweets, Twitter will Not count them towards trending.
* Please tweet the hashtag of#BridgetReganBirthday and let non-fans know why and where they should watch her in 'Legend of the Seeker'.
(Plus, we are also wanting to continue to let Networks/Executives know that we want more of 'Legend of the Seeker' )
* Request reruns of LotS Season 1 & Season 2 from the Networks.
* Also politely tell the networks below why they should pick up the show for a 3rd season or mini-series.

RETWEETS
Re-tweeting other fans' tweets can make it easy to join in the fun too
To re-tweet another Seeker's tweet with #BridgetReganBirthday , you can either search on twitter for that, or click here:
twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%23BridgetReganBirthday , and then just re-tweet the tweets that you like.
(When searching on Twitter for #BridgetReganBirthday , when the results come up, please click on 'All' instead of the default of 'Top', so that you can see ALL of the other Seekers' tweets to choose from )
* Please try to retweet the "original" tweet with the hashtag, so that the hashtag doesn't get cut off.
(or you can copy/paste them)
* If you try to tweet something eXactly the same that you've already
tweeted, Twitter might *warn* you about that - so you'll have to tweak/adjust your tweet a bit if that happens.

If you have a 'PRIVATE' Twitter account, you'll need to change it to 'PUBLIC' if you want your Tweets to count towards Trending.
(You can always change your account back to Private after the Tweetathon )
Another option is to create a separate PUBLIC twitter account (which is also a good idea for those of us who go to "Twitter Jail"
)
P.S. Rumour has it that you need at least 10 followers so that your tweets count towards "Trends". Please make sure to tweet from your alternative/new Twitter account to let other Seekers know to follow you.

-This happens when you tweet more than your limit in a day/in an hour, so it's good to have an eXtra Twitter account or two when this happens.
You can tell when you're in "Jail" as a message will come up saying something similar to: "Oops! An Error Has Occurred". Then that account is usually "Frozen" for at least an hour, sometimes more.
