We're having a tweetathon in honor of Craig's birthday on Jan. 24.
I've enlisted the support of SoS and there's quite a bit of fan interest already on Twitter.
Be sure to mark your calendars and SPREAD THE WORD (Facebook, other fan sites, Twitter, etc.).

Twuffer.com is another Tweet scheduler site and I like it a bit better for ease of use. At least a few people had issues with the way Twaitter was sending only some of their tweets...Just another option to get those lovely tweets set-up! I can't wait to read them all!  I so hope we get Craigy trending for his bday!  |

Some helpful trending hints from the 'Fringe' fandom:
“Trends is about novelty and diversity of sources and not just popularity.”
* Don’t use the hash-tag #CraigHorner at all in any tweets until Tuesday, January 24th, at 12Noon ET.
Why?
Because Trending Topics work like this now: Twitter recognizes new terms, phrases, and hash-tags – things that have not been seen much. The more people that suddenly “rapid-fire” a newer topic, the more likely the topic is to reach the top trends list, which is our goal.
Hashtags also frequently trend if they’re new and haven’t been through the algorithm before.
Very Important:
Twitter only counts one hash tag per Tweet. So ONLY use #CraigHorner. It is OK to use other key words such as Legend of the Seeker, Richard Cypher, etc... But only one # term per tweet.
- One # term per tweet
- the more people that tweet, the better…
- and… people with lots of followers can have more of an effect, due to the size of their network and a concept called, amplification.

… nothing will count for trending topics.
* Private accounts must have their locked status removed, as the tweets from these accounts do not count toward the trend tally.

(If you know how to use a Twitter application suite like TweetDeck or HootSuite, this is made even easier.)
* Do NOT swear/curse in your tweets, they will Not count towards trending.

**Helpful Trending Hints**
To celebrate Craig Horner's Birthday,

This Twitter Event will be focused between 12 Noon ET to 2 PM ET.

Please Spread the word on LiveJournal, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Forums, You Tube, etc..
* Do Not use the hashtag #CraigHorner until Tuesday, Jan 24th at 12Noon ET.
* Only use ONE Hashtag per tweet: #CraigHorner (If you tweet more than one Hashtag ( # ), none will count!!
* Do Not Curse/Swear in your tweets - they will Not count towards a trend.
* If you have a 'Private' Twitter account, you'll need to change it to 'Public' if you want your Tweets to count towards Trending. (You can always change your account back to Private after the trending event. ) Or you could create a separate Public Twitter account for Trending.
* "Twitter Jail" -This happens when you tweet more than your limit in a day/in an hour, so it's good to have an eXtra Twitter account or two when this happens.
You can tell when you're in "Jail" as a message will come up saying something similar to: "Oops! An Error Has Occurred". Then that account is usually "Frozen" for at least an hour, sometimes more.
* Pre-Schedule Your Tweets
If you're not able to be on Twitter during the focused time of 12 Noon to 2 PM ET on Jan. 24th/2012, you can schedule your tweets days in advance with:

FutureTweets: futuretweets.com/
NOTE: Only 10 tweets per hour, per Twitter account, can be scheduled with *Twaitter*.
* RETWEETS
Re-tweeting other fans' tweets can make it easy to join in the fun too
To re-tweet another Seeker's tweet with #CraigHorner , you can either search on twitter for that, or click here: twitter.com/#!/search/%23CraigHorner , and then just re-tweet the tweets that you like.
(When searching on Twitter for #CraigHorner , when the results come up, please click on 'All' instead of the default of 'Top', so that you can see ALL of the other Seekers' tweets to choose from )
-Please try to retweet the "original" tweet with the hashtag, so that the hashtag doesn't get cut off.
(or you can copy/paste them)
-If you try to tweet something eXactly the same that you've already
tweeted, Twitter might *warn* you about that - so you'll have to tweak/adjust your tweet a bit if that happens.
* NEW to TWITTER
If you've never used Twitter, this is a good reason to start.
It takes less than 5 minutes to sign up and Twitter is actually very easy to use.

Rumour has it that you need at least 10 followers so that your tweets count towards "Trends". Please make sure to tweet from your alternative/new Twitter account to let other Seekers know to follow you.
* Please tweet the hashtag of #CraigHorner and let non-fans know why and where they should watch him in 'Legend of the Seeker'.
(Plus, we are also wanting to continue to let Networks/Executives know that we want more of 'Legend of the Seeker' )
* Request reruns of LotS Season 1 & Season 2 from the Networks.
* Also politely tell the networks below why they should pick up the show for a 3rd season or mini-series.
