Hi Jlyn,
I'm so glad someone else is trying to raise awarenes on the UK syfy channel. I started a couple of threads on their forum a couple of weeks ago and have really been trying to raise awareness! I've posted links on this site and both facebook sites (SOS and Legend of the Seeker) and have had mixed success. Over the past couple of days the poll has really got going but the thread I started for comments really hasn't kicked off. Any help you could give me with promoting both these would be much appreciated. Will try to add comments to your links as well

Hi MccKate! Excellent, I didn't see the poll before but I will go and vote there. The link I provided above, bit.ly/az1Kp9 was also a comment page, I think set-up by SyFy - so it might be best to use that for leaving comments. I know they received a lot of tweets yesterday after their request for input on Seeker, but I think it's important to post comments as well. All we can do is keep trying to spread the word. I posted the info on Facebook, another discussion forum and tweeted it. I'll add to LJ this morning... any other ideas anyone? Be sure to comment everyone... I know we are all hopeful about DirecTV but it may just be an international network (BBC, SyFY.UK) that saves this show. Let's stay on them. |

I wish I lived in the UK to be able to help.
International help is extremely important. But bottom line is that we need a US distributor or to convince ABC/Disney to air it on one of their own stations.
The thing is, if ABC/Disney sees that it can lower the asking price here in the US because the cost differential will be made up by overseas demand/support then that can only help.
