Whilst browsing the [glow=red,2,300]SAVE OUR SEEKER [/glow]facebook page I saw that people have decided to try and enlist Syfy's help in finding a new home for Legend of the Seeker. I live in the UK and am currently able to get my weekly dose of Seeker through the UK Syfy channel. I have therefore created a new thread on the UK site forum trying to spread the word to UK fans who are currently unaware that ABC have not renewed Legend of the Seeker. I would be extremely grateful if people could add their own comments to my thread as we all know that the voice of the people is much louder than a single voice!www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.syfy.co.uk%2Fcontent%2Fsave-our-seeker&h=13b05In addition to this I have also created a poll which I hope is similar to the one created on the US site. My theory is that if we make enough noise on both sites then the people at Syfy channel will realise we are serious about the [glow=red,2,300]SAVE OUR SEEKER [/glow]campaign. Please vote as the poll is currently looking very unloved with just my vote! www.syfy.co.uk/content/should-syfy-save-our-seeker-picking-legnd-seeker-third-seasonOh, and I should probably mention that the poll is currently on the Syfy homepage as well as the forum page!!!! Fingers crossed this gets us some more awareness

This is great!!!! The more international support the better. That will let ABC/Disney know that there are opportunites to cover the costs of the series overseas.
It's my understanding that UK SyFy and US SyFy are two different companies, but still affiliated in some way. But it can't possibly hurt to get them talking and may well help.

Auroracat thanks for that info. I did always wonder why there were different sites, channels etc if they were the same company. Hopefully the UK company can persuade the US company to pick Legend of the Seeker up!!!

I've emailed Syfy UK and asked if they could do anything to help convince Syfy US to change their minds. As you can guess, I've gotten no response.

Thursday Addition - Due to Upfronts Lmoonves@cbs.com - Les Moonves, President and CEO of CBS Corporation We need to keep doing all the things we've been doing! I just bought another season 1 DVD set. Keep watching Hulu. I'm sure you know that you can set it on continuous play. I also think that we should again go after SyFy. They're the only ones who showed a true interest in obtaining the show.

If there's anything I can do to help with trying to get a result from Syfy Veronic give me a shout. Unfortunately we've not had much response (all 5votes have been to Save it though )to the poll so far but I shall keep trying to promote it and see if I can get some more comments on the forum topic.

I just voted! We are way ahead and have 134,504 votes ;D. This will hopefully convince Syfy to show Legend Of The Seeker!! I found out you don't have to have a twitter account for the Tv Show of The Month on Twitter. Since I don't have a twitter, I had to find a way to vote without signing up for an account. I plan to vote every twenty minutes.
