Just a note about my thoughts on why it says "season" and not "series". I have to wonder, if the show is truly canceled, dead and final, that it would get a mention like this on air somehow/somewhere. Because honestly, people who watch the show only on TV and don't participate in the online fandom or even come online about it may and will not know the show about a cancellation. So I agree with veronic--I believe ABC does want the show to survive. It's just a matter of finding a home for it.

well in my opinon ABC needs to get rid of shows like V n put my Seeker on prime time but is not gonna happen for reasons that we already know.... way to go ABC...

While I understand your frustration. Sadly, LotS wouldn't be a good fit for ABC primetime due to the syndication nature.
That's not to say that they can't/won't decide to air it on one of their other networks.
Remember they wanted very much to sell it, even after the Tribune debacle.

yeah i know... the whole syndication thing bothers me SO much!! but i understand... i know is not fair but im hating on V...... i'll get over it someday.....
