Let's just say for example that another network was interested in "Joey Dakota". They would not be dealing with The CW anymore, but rather with Mark Harmon and his production team. Craig and the other cast members of "Joey Dakota" are now released from any obligation to The CW since the network passed on their pilot. This means that if another network were to pick it up, they would have to re-cast it, and they may not neccesarily go with the exact same cast again. So, where am I going with this? We could certainly write to Mark Harmon, and express our interest in "Joey Dakota" to him, but be sure to mention that our main interest in this series is because Craig was going to play Joey. Or, if you write to another network asking them to consider this series, remind them that it was because Craig was cast in the lead role. It would be terribly frustrating if someone where to pick up "J. D.", and then cast a different actor in the lead role. Mark Harmon c/o Paradigm 360 N. I'm writing to night (frustrated sigh) so darn close. I miss our Craig already. So all of us have to write this Mark Harmon.

This link is not new, it was a post that was written on March 11, when we found out that Craig had been cast in "Joey Dakota". However, I think that it may be time to re-read it now: www.sf-fandom.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?33677-CW-Casts-Craig-Horner-as-Joey-Dakota-in-Time-Travel-PilotI realize that we were all very excited about the prospect of seeing Craig in a weekly series again, and the news from this past week has been a major disappointment. However, like the guy that wrote that post said, if "Joey Dakota" is not picked up, Craig will be available for another series. Yes, I wanted this to be successful for him; and yes, I wanted "Frontier" to be successful for Bridget. I miss both of them so much, and my thinking (probably like the rest of you as well) was that if we cannot have them in "Seeker", then the next best thing would be to see them in another series. Unfortunately, neither series was picked up. So, where does that leave us as fans of Craig and Bridget? It is bittersweet to say it, but once again both of them are available for another series. Now would be a really good time to renew our efforts and make some noise about "Seeker". I realize that we are tired, we have been disappointed again, but the prospect of getting "Seeker" back remains before us. I suspect that many of us have slacked off on sending letters or postcards, and watching episodes on Hulu and Netflix, but now would be a good time to re-energize and renew our fight!

This news is from gothic_redhead:Moscow LotS update!
Hi Deacon! I asked my friend in Moscow about LotS. She said "LotS is finished on tv." Not sure if both seasons were aired or not. I haven't heard back from her yet, but I know Season 1 for sure.
This is the russian fan site: www.legendoftheseeker.net/ Here's the petition from fans to make season 3 happen! www.onlinepetition.ru/viewsigns.php?pUrl=9d4c92 Wish we would at least have re-runs in the US! Our fellow "Seeker" fans in Russia are not giving up the fight!

I'm sorry, Sybil. I will be honest, I am feeling pretty down myself right now. There was so much media hype when Craig was cast as Joey, I figured that this series would be a given. "House", a favorite series of mine, will broadcast its final episode this Monday, so it's "good bye" to that one, after 8 seasons. If NBC had not picked up "Chicago Fire", I'm not sure that I would be watching anything on TV this coming Fall. I could get by just watching movies. I can understand the lack of energy, but it will come back. The more that you miss Craig, the more that you will be filled with a resolve to fight again. Imagine how he must feel now? "LoTS" cancelled after 2 seasons, and now "J. D." not getting picked up by The CW. In a few days our "down" mood will most likely give way to frustration and anger, which will then give us new energy to keep fighting. Hang in there Sybil! The fight would never be the same without you. If you are tired of writing to the studios, how about another idea for now? Why not write to Craig and Bridget? They could probably use some good fan support just about now. No need to dwell on the negative - they know that it sucks that their series were not picked up. Maybe a Thinking of You card? Simply let them know that we are thinking of them, that we support them, and will continue to be there for them...and looking forward to their next projects. Seeker fans, any other thoughts or ideas to show our support for Craig and Bridget?

deacon, that's such a great idea. I'm sending out a THINKING OF YOU CARD to night to them both. Thank you for always bringing us up.
Man, I was so sure (as many of us were) that JD was going to be the next HOT show. And eventho I'm in a downer right now, I do know he'll be in something soon.

I know this must have been a really long haul for everyone here who has been fighting for LOTS since it was first cancelled, and I hate to just jump in with easy words of encouragement from someone who hasn't been through all the ups and downs with the rest of you. But I do want to say something. I've been a bit of a fandom gypsy for the last couple of years, renaming my favorites several times in a row and popping in and out of different fan communities. Finding LOTS fandom all this time after the show aired has been special though. First it was just the emotional impact of the fan videos that drew me back into their world. Now that I'm rewatching the show on DVD, I can see how the originals inspired that kind of vidding. The amazing love between Richard and Kahlan is one thing. But the way they are tested, not only individually but also the way their love is tested, adds so much to the meaning of their story. The dream-like quality of the story-telling where the episodic circumstances are always adapting to test the strengths of the characters in new ways, instead of funneling them towards more specialized life-roles and more predictable paths of character development is so unusual, and the effect it has on their development as human characters is so phenomenal, they make more inspiring heroes than any other fictional characters I can think of, and I can say that without even having begun to read the books yet. And then I found you guys. The level of support for both the hope of a third season and the careers of the show's stars in the Save Our Seeker movement is just amazing. So I want to be part of the campaign, if the campaign continues, and whatever each of you decide, I wanted to say here and now that you inspire me. I need to start sharing my YouTube finds on the thread for video recommendations, but I wanted to share this one here for your inspiration and comfort - whatever you wish for. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZyI9Mx0kJU&feature=bf_prev&list=ULegbeNOEoyAE

Hello Gavinrose, It is inspiring to us to see new members continue to join our ranks. There have been so many ups and downs during our fight to get the series back. And, as you can tell, this is one of those "down" times. Although our ultimate aim is to see Craig and Bridget return for more "Seeker", we were so happy that each of them was in a pilot episode for one of the major networks. And, "Joey Dakota" seemed so right for Craig, what with his love of music. Like Lotslove said in her post, it is hard to believe that we had "LoTS" for 2 seasons, and now it has been 2 years since we have seen a new episode. If it were not for the cancellation, season 4 would be coming to an end this month, and then late next Fall ("LoTS" always began in November), season 5 would begin. One of the best things that has happened during the 2 year absence was Craig reconnecting with the fans a few months ago. He joined twitter, and then he appeared at the Comic Con, so once again there is a strong bond between him and the fans. Bridget also keeps in touch via twitter. Speaking of Lotslove, she and several other talented fans on this website write some amazing fan fiction about our beloved "LoTS" characters. This helps to keep them alive while we wait for more episodes of Richard's adventures. kahlanrichardlots.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ffalleyWe may be in a bit of a rut right now, but we always pull ourselves back together and continue the fight, just like Richard and his friends. In both seasons, giving up was never an option for them.

Saw an old pic on a Seeker FB page of the entire cast after S2 wrapped. At the bottom of their photo it said "2009-2010". That hit me like a ton of bricks!!! IT'S BEEN SOOOO LONG SINCE WE'VE HAD SEEKER!!! We've missed out on so much with it's cancellation. We've been denied an awesome show. That's why we still have to fight!

It is good to see new members. And just know that we aren't always in such a dower. We've been hit with a few disappointments *&^%$#@ well...
deacon, when you said it'd be 4 seasons now "if"..., man, that one hit me. Me thinks I'm watching Seeker on Netflix this weekend. That always seems to help.
