Hello and Happy Holidays!
I live in Maryland USA.
I'm so happy to read all the variety of people on this board and those that have travelled. In September I took a girls trip to London, Prague, Belfast and Dublin. I know . . . the trip cities are oddly placed but we based it on cheap fares via EasyJet. Originally the trip was only supposed to be to Prague but when I learned the plane would land in London I told my friends I'm getting off . . . there's no way I was going to see London through a window. They joined me.
In 2006 I visited Australia for 3 weeks in October. I sometimes can't believe I was there. I would have spent another week to see New Zealand but I was missing my hubby like crazy.
My trips across the pond seem to be averaging every two years. In 2010 I hope to visit Egypt or Greece.

Posting here as a Newbie to let you all know I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. I am not too well-travelled but looking forward to some more now that I am retired from the Federal government. Have travelled to Canada three times and love it up there. Most of my other travels have been up and down the east coast with an occasional trip to Nevada or Florida.

Another Floridian here, but I'm a northern girl at heart. I'd take cold weather over hot weather any day. lol My favorite place to visit is NYC at Christmas. Like a couple of other people have mentioned, I would LOVE to visit NZ and Australia at some point, as well as the UK.

Glad to see another easter-European here, and yes, it's fantastic how international our little community is already. Heidi, ITA about wanting to see NZ! As Craig Parker said in latest interview, LotS is basically a tourism ad They should look into organising fan-holidays, with tours of LotS sets of course.

Californian born and bred but Northern California. That said, I've lived in Vancouver, British Columbia for a year and loved it and would really, really love to be able to visit the Yukon Territory, NZ, the UK and various areas around the globe. Traveling is just a lot of fun.

I'm from Ohio, USA! I lived in Wisconsin for about 6 months 2 winters ago, and that was...interesting (when I had to stop my car and wait for wild chickens to cross the road, I decided it was time to move back home to the buckeye state).
International travel has been limited to Cancun, Mexico and Toronto, Canada. I really, really, really want to take a trip to Europe when I graduate from college next December.

Traveling is just a lot of fun. Yes people forget that California isn't just LA. Where are you from? I grew up in Sonoma County, lived in Mass for 8 years and am now in Arizona. I've been to most of the states in the US - I think Alaska and a few in the south are about the only ones that I haven't either driven through, stopped at their airports, or vacationed in. I went to Washington DC on trips so many times when I was in Jr High and high school that I could probably step in as a tour guide w/o much coaching and teaching. I have a friend who lives there - she and her sister and I drove around and I gave them both a history tour of all of the different monuments and museums in the city even though I've never lived there myself Funny thing though - I've never been inside the White House. International travel - when I was a kid my family lived in Australia for 6 months. We spent a month traveling the south pacific so I've been to Figi, Bora Bora, Tahiti, New Zealand...unfortunately I don't remember a lot from that time I did go back to Aussie in 88 though. I've traveled all over that country - about the only big cities/areas that I still need to hit are Perth, Darwin, Tasmania, and Alice Springs - other than those 3 places I've visited all of the major cities in Australia.

ladymajavader - yeah when Fides first told me about the show, I wasn't expecting the NZ landscape. But from the first opening scene I was literally blown away and was like, ok, I'm going to LOVE this show! LOL I have high respect and admiration for good cinematography, and NZ just begs to be filmed. The actors are really lucky! fides - Haha, don't forget, you owe me a tour around Vancouver when I finally make it out to the west coast! lol

Oh, orange revolution.... Just a good show, anything else as for me. It was provided just to get to the power. Honestly, it didn't change anything, politic - is weak point of Ukraine. One left, another comes, all is going ahead, but nothing changes) Hoping there will be many new faces in politic, then maybe we have a chance.)

I'm from Germany. I live in a town called Goettingen. We've got one of the biggest universities in Germany. In Goettingen there live over 25000 students! It's a quite boring city... nothing special! When I finished my study I want to emigrate in another country.... ;D
