Not sure but this sure sounds like we might be making some what of a wake. Today is the release of the Omen Machine and it is marked on the FIRST page of new and recomended tab for TOP SELLERS and is part of the flashing banner near the top of the page as well as page two of the ad. At the very least it means that the producers will be kicking themselves over not being part of the promoting of this book.

I tweeted the article about it being one of the most anticipated books of the summer to @starz_Channel. Feel free to retweet it people and make a rucous!

I've made a decision not to buy any of Terry Goodkind's books till Legend of the Seeker is back on the TV. That's just for me, you guys can do what ever you want. This is my stand, you can have your own stand.

I really love Legend of the Seeker but I'm thinking it's time to get it, that they aren't interested in doing a season 3. I really had a lot of hope the first year but now I really don't know what to think any more. We can't seem to even get reruns. Sad....

Sybil, I know how you feel. This has been a long, hard fight and we are seeing many of our fellow fans give up. Obviously, we cannot go on forever. That being said, I would try to encourage you to hang in there for awhile. There are some signs of hope, though perhaps not that obvious to us here in the U.S. "Seeker" is doing very well in Italy, Germany, even France. Our show is becoming "European" thanks to reruns showing there. Also, the reruns continue in Australia and New Zealand. This resurgence of interest in Europe and elsewhere may yet gain a second look from the producers. Our show may come back as a European production, and that is fine by me! Another event approaching soon is the DragonCon in Atlanta. There is going to be a sizable "Seeker" fan representation there. Please hang in there as these events unfold. I know that it is beginning to look more remote, but our cause is not finished yet. It's true that fans on different "Seeker" websites are beginning to question when we should "call it a day"? Not yet. Before such a time, we would try for a "big push", or "grand finale". Till such a time, please keep fighting. Keep doing what we are doing: sending letters and postcards, and watching our show on Hulu. I am surprised that reruns have not been picked up yet in the U.S. Perhaps ABC/Disney has not offered it for reruns yet? This is not the time to "lay down the sword". Keep fighting! You're so right deacon. And to what you've pointed out, I'll just add that with the release just last week of the new Richard and Kahlan novel (that, by the way, was on the list of most anticipated books of the summer), I'm hoping will only help bring deserved recognition to our show and cause. And Terry is working on the next R/K novel right now. Adding to that the very recent news of the BBC/Starz Channel venture (a perfect opportunity for Seeker) I am still hopeful. It's disheartening to see other fans drop away. Especially the ones who so earnestly said they'd never give up the fight...These things don't happen over night, they take time.

Happy birthday deacon!!!! I don't know if you even know of the b-thread so I thought I'd post it here. Hope you enjoy!! Thank you, Jlyn. I am waiting for Starz and BBC to surprise me with a birthday gift by announcing that they have picked up our series. I think that I will watch "Desecrated", since they celebrate Richard's birthday in that episode.

Sounds like a good idea! And maybe Terry has something special for your birthday... He just tweeted: We will have a major announcement 2 hours from now (7 PM PST/10 PM EST). We hope you'll join us.twitter.com/#!/terrygoodkind/status/106515163024330752 Most likely book related -- but I'm dying to know what it could be! I should add -- don't get too excited folks, Terry loves to tweet things like that. It could be anything, like new merchandise, LOL.

Thank you, everyone, for the birthday greetings. Good news from Terry last evening about his new book already being #1 on the N.Y.T. Bestsellers list. This is something that we can include in our letters. Also, good news for Bridget being cast in a TV movie by TNT. This gives her another project to work on, following her role on N.C.I.S., yet will not tie her down for a long term committment. In other words, she would still be available to play Kahlan.
