*waves* Hey everyone! I'm Sapph, 21, Australian and I absolutely love Legend of the Seeker so far. The lanscape and scenery of New Zealand is the thing that attracted me in the first place and so far it hasn't disappointed at all! I'm on LJ (Livejournal) as sapphs if anyone wants to come say hi Catch you round!

I should probably introduce myself. I’m a sci-fi geekette who faults George Lucas for my love of all things sci-fi, superheroes, and fantasy. I actually feel that Star Wars is more fantasy than Sci-fi – they just have ships instead of horses and blasters instead of bows and arrows (well Chewie does have a bowcaster ) I run/co-run, and post on a plethora of different websites…maybe you’ve seen me around. On TheForce.net – I post as PadmeLeiaJaina. I’ve been known as RedKryptonClark or RKC_Erika on different Smallville boards, Divine Intervention, Clois Creative Corner (my forum). My sister runs the CCC Lois blog and OSCK Smallville blog – I post on those occasionally. My main other focus is that I run The Sarah Connor Society – the largest and most comprehensive Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles fansite network on the web. I love the show, there’s no shipping on it though so other than Clois I needed another couple to ship hard – Kahlan/Richard fills that bill perfectly since I’ve always loved them from the books. Our Richard/Kahlan site is a part of the Multipleverses.com network that my sister runs the main sites on that I contribute on. This all doesn’t include my fanart blog/ and fan art gallery, my Livejournal site, a Star Wars fanfic/Terminator site, and my Clois Smallville fanfiction site. YEAH I’m a total spaz and totally hopeless. My other favorite show is Supernatural but I’ve managed to only show my love of it by doing the occasional art piece. I don’t post on any boards for it. That’s about it – I set up this place because fans of Richard/Kahlan need a haven away from the fanboys who only want to complain about the series. If you can think of anything to help improve the place let me know! Erika

First off, this place is AWESOME! LotS had me hooked and on board with the first trailer I saw. My name is Ana. I'm 21 and from the U.S. As you can tell by my name, television rules my life. No joke... I have have two shows for every night of the week. Some of my favorites are: TSCC's, Heroes, OTH (although, I haven't watched much this season), NCIS, PSYCH!, Private Practice, CSI:NY, "Teh Sex Thursday" ---> Smallville and Supernatural, aaaand LEGEND OF THE SEEKER!

Erika it's a fantastic forum you've set up here. You're right. I really hope now that this becomes the Divine Intervention for LOTS fans. The artwork is fabulous as usual.
So far I've seen all the three episodes and I'm also reading Book 1 i.e. Wizard's First Rule. Enjoying the series a lot. Guess this will be my new obsession until Erica Durance returns to Smallville.

Hi Ana! Welcome to the forums I don't watch the crime shows that you do but I do watch the sci-fi ones I watch about as much tv (if not more) than you do. I am however only really obsessed w/ 4 shows, TSCC, SV, SN, and now LOTS - which I knew I would be when I heard it was coming! Hi Shal! Yeah well no kidding I'm so excited to have something new, different, w/the love story being central to the whole show. SV blahhhhh......wake me when Clois returns after BRIDE. Glad that you like the artwork, I kept trying for a daytime one but I couldn't get the right photos to fit the mood I wanted so I opted for lush, dark and moody instead

Hello everyone My name is Eva, I´m 25 years old and I live in the Czech Republic. I´m an elementary school teacher. I´ve seen the first 2 episodes of Legend of the Seeker about ten times! This forum is really great. It´s nice to have a place to talk about LOTS, which is like the best show of this year. I hope it stays this wonderful forever! I usually don´t like it when shows go on for too long (like 6,7,8 years and more), because most of the time it means that the show doesn´t even resemble the first seasons and the original idea. I don´t like when they kill off my favorite characters, because I´m too emotionally invested in them. I guess I have no life :-D The characters are like my best friends! And let´s face it, I sometimes fantasize of having a gorgeous boyfriend like my dear TV+film heroes :-D Unfortunately, the real world does not offer many of those :-( I watch A LOT of other shows, my favorites are Life, Brothers and sisters, Private Practice, The Mentalist, I sometimes watch Fringe, House, Bones, Grey´s anatomy, Pushing Daisies. Sometimes I prefer comedies like The Office, 30 rock, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory. I started watching most of these with my younger brother. Talking about the new episodes brings us closer together. It´s great, because after I moved out of my parents´ house we didn´t have much to talk about and we didn´t see each very often. So TV improves relationships :-) I have great faith in the Richard/Kahlan ship. They look so wonderful together and though I haven´t read the books I so hope they get together one day.

Hiyas!
I'm Dana, but you can call me Piyo. I first learned about LOTS when I caught the tail end of a trailer for it while I was channel surfing. I'm crazy for fantasy things, and am in LOVE with New Zealand, so it was only natural that I would start watching the show. And of course, I'm hooked now, after having seen the first three episodes at least a dozen times (because, hey, you can never get tired of watching Richard build a bridge, heheh).
Aside from that, there's really not much to me. I tend to live a fairly boring life, but I have my obsessions so that should be more than enough, lol. I'm a Disney and Charmed fangirl, a little too in love with all things celtic and mermaid, and am a sucker for anything historical. While I've fallen behind in plenty of tv, I'm a fan of Pushing Daisies, Psych, CSI: Las Vegas, and Supernatural.
Somewhat of a bookworm too, and am currently reading Wizard's First Rule, which I am loving. And, other than the occasional doodle or writing I do, that's just about all there is to me.

Well time to introduce myself. I'm MaryD, I'm from Oz (hi sapph).
I run several sites (like Erika - we seem to share the web bug). I run AUSXIP.com which is my baby and has been around since 1996. Started it's life as a Xena site (and it still is) and has branched off into sites for Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor, Adrienne Wilkinson, Rob Tapert, Steven Sears etc. It's a monster of a site.
I also run AUSLOTS which is in partnership with this fab forum. AUSLOTS is the Australian Legend of the Seeker News & Multimedia Fan Site (aka AUSLOTS). Offshoots of that site is the Bridget Regan News and Multimedia and the AUSLOTS Craig Horner News and Multimedia.
So basically I run AUSXIP and AUSLOTS. That be me.

Hi everyone, I'm Vikah, 21 and a Dutch Arubian. I'm currently living in the Netherlands. Can't say I run any sites, I have an LJ that I never update, so that says a lot I'm gonna be honest and say that the reason I got interested in the show is because I saw the stills at Andreas' LJ. The dress caught my attention. I love old style costumes (Narnia, Lord of the Rings, the Other Boleyn Girl, etc). I remembered the name from the thread at DI, so I checked out the premiere... and loved it! Haven't read the books yet, but I ordered the first two... So we'll see! (Oh and my shows are in my siggie... )

Hello there! I'm LupisNoctis. I'm 21, live in the U.S. and I love Legend of the Seeker. Currently I'm a psych major and I'm working toward a career as a child psychologist.
I was first made aware of the show by an article in my Entertainment Weekly magazine that was highlighting it as a series premier. I decided that it was worth a watch and I've been hooked ever since. I love the chemistry and relationship between Richard and Kahlan. They are just amazing to watch together. Kahlan totally rocks my socks as the perfect heroine. She's smart and she can take care of herself. I love that she's not one bit dependent on Richard for any physical protection...Most of the time. She's no damsel in distress. She's just so awesome.
Vikah, looks like we've got some favorite shows in common.

Hello everyone! I'm Brittny. I'm 27 and I live in Texas. I think I'd follow Erika and her sis anywhere they go on the Web... at least to get a glimpse of what they are up to. I belong to several sites all over the web. I think up usernames on a whim so... it can get pretty confusing. I love the bone lady in the Sword of Truth books. On DI I'm BDE, at K-site I'm ginnyfan... just to name a couple. gibbynka I really relate to your post. My sister and I bond over Smallville. A long time ago I was looking for a new fantasy book series because Wheel of Time was... wearing on my patience. I found Sword of Truth. I adored the first book and got all the way to the middle of book three before I gave up on the series. It was so graphic and violent. I had mixed feelings about the show when I first heard about it. I really didn't see how Disney was going to be able to adapt the books for Television. Once I heard that the Xena/Hercules people would be involved I got really excited about it. I loved those shows, especially Xena. I like the show so far but going to take a little getting used to. I'm still trying to reorient myself from the books to the TV show without being too judgmental. It's been a while since I read the books though, so that helps. Visually the show is amazing. The casting and acting are great so far. The costumes and the landscapes are breathtaking. This is going to be such a fun ride. My shows are Smallville, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, I've just stopped watching Heroes , The Mentalist, Bones, Legend of the Seeker of Course and Dr. Who. I'm a huge SciFi fan. I look forward to chatting with everyone about the show. Or at the very least... lurking.

gibbynkaHi Eva! Wow we’ve got as many international members as US members in here already. We’ll have to see how long Seeker goes. They DO have 11 books that they can base the show after…which could mean story fodder for 11 seasons…although I suspect that a few of the books can have their events condensed down to make the show’s run shorter. piyoHi Dana I heard about the show last spring and nearly wigged out. At first it sounded like they were going to do a movie or mini-series but when I heard it was going to be a TV series I was so excited! I love the beauty of the scenery also, I went to New Zealand many, many years ago and would love to go again. You like a lot of my favorite TV stuff. I don’t watch CSI or Psych though. Love SN and Charmed marydYou’ll have to get us all oriented on how the whole syndicated show thing works. I’ve never watched syndicated TV before so I don’t know what ABC is expecting from ratings, etc. You’re our expert VikahAren’t those stills lovely? I’m so happy that she’s posting them and getting interest up w/ her massive network of LJ fans. lupisnoctisKahlan totally rocks my socks as the perfect heroine. She's smart and she can take care of herself. I love that she's not one bit dependent on Richard for any physical protection...Most of the time. She's no damsel in distress. She's just so awesome.Yep, that’s what makes Kahlan great, she’s got her weaknesses too – like being TOO driven and forgetting to see and appreciate the small things in life. I just love her and Richard, they’re heroes but they’re both flawed. boneladyHey Brittny – I never know what name you’re going to pop up under on my forums – LOL! I've given up on trying to do anything fancy and just use my name

There is so much stuff there I almost can't contain me squee

Hey everybody- I'm excited to find this forum. Thanks for creating it Erika-it's great. My name is Kris and I'm from the US. I seem to have a thing for couples with strong female characters who can kick butt & find true love with a good man. The theme of love conquering all despite incredible odds & tragic circumstances always reels me in. In the past I've enjoyed Sam Raimi's shows-Hercules & Xena, so I wanted to check out LOTS. At first I only saw the first hour & I liked it but was unsure as to if I could get past some shortcomings. However, I really enjoyed the second hour, especially Richard/Kahlan's budding romance. Plus after researching it a bit in the books, I was enamoured even more. I thought I was the only Richard/Kahlan shipper from the show but I'm glad to see I'm not I look forward to interacting with you all from time to time & discussing this wonderful love story. cheers
