A friend of mine last night told me that I have organizational OCD when it comes to my web stuff - it appears that she's right. When this board started we only had 1 area for fan stuff, that quickly grew so we divided fanart/fanvids/other stuff.
I personally never liked the segregation because now I never remember to check the fanvid area even though I love fanvids. Also - artists have different boards to post their stuff onto - it's a pain. So I've done something that I piloted over on my Superverses board and people seem to like it.
We now have 3 boards for the Fan Corner here.

CSS Fan Corner
For certain members they have now received his/her own sub-board. To qualify for earning one of these they needed to be:
A) Prolific & passionate with their work.
B) Multi-talented.
C) Active members on our forums.
Active Folks who I saw made videos & artwork got their own sub board or who were very active and specialized in their own field of expertise.
Those who now have your own sub-boards you can do whatever you want in there. You can post all of your goodies together in one place. You've got lots of room, you can make threads for non-LOTS videos, non-LOTS artwork, tutorials, pic spams, fan-mixes, polls, whatever!
Consider your sub-board to be your little creative corner on CSS - congrats you've earned it
For anyone who didn't get one don't panic. So long as you show that you fall into those categories above, you'll probably get your own sub-board one day.
Don't ask for one, the subboards will be created after discussion by the mod staff if we feel that you deserve one. If you used to post both vids and artwork but didn't get a sub-board, it's because you're not active - start creating stuff again and you'll probably get a board made for you.
Final changes - the Adult fanfic board is now a sub-board of the general fanfic board and you can find the post your favorite pics type of threads in the photo gallery area.
