I honestly can't remember writing to them. If they are a part of the NBC Universal network, then they are now owned by Comcast. Do we know what some of their popular shows are, and what audience they like to target?

If we haven't attacked them yet it's worth a shot. Universal gave us Browncoats "Serenity". It was the fans who convinced them to do it..

On the downside, however, Serenity didn't pull in as much at the box office as Universal would have liked so they might be a little shy.

On the up side of that tho is that "Firefly" only ever got 14 episodes filmed (only 12 ever aired) whereas "Seeker" has had two complete seasons which easily proves the possible profitability of the series to Universal.

I forget what all TV shows they own but based on films I'd say they have a wide target audience.

Thanks, I kinda vaguely remember them being on the list.

What made me think of USA is that they seem to be well funded, are carrying original and purchased programming. And while they don't have fantasy shows, per se they do have some more intelligent and different shows. (Burn Notice and White Collar being 2 that I watch). They have the whole "character's wanted campaign and it seems to me LoTs definitely has great characters

A legitimate pitch focused on these things could easily be made!

We have our new update from the Journey Book, and this week (beginning January 31) we will be writing to two sources. One is a repeat, and one is new. We will be writing to NBC again, as we hope to make an impression with the new management there.

We will also be writing to Legendary Pictures. They seem to focus primarily on fantasy themed programs, and their CEO is currently working with Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert (producers of Seeker) on the upcoming fantasy movie Warcraft.
