hey guys, I've been on twitter for the past few hours. I think we need to rally again and target specific stations like SyFy and put as much effort into it as possible. A last ditch effort if you will. I was also thinking, what if we send a picture of ourselves with our letters to the stations? Instead of just giving them a letter which would just be another statitic to them, what if we put a face to their statistics? a face to their fans? just an idea. if anyone has anything planned, please let me know. everyone on twitter wants to know what to do.

One suggestion: keep the tweets and the letters polite. We don't want to upset them. We are a very friendly and polite fandom!

Legend of the Seeker: File this under "noOOOooOOoo!" Our sources confirm EW.com's report that Seeker is dunzo. While no one's commenting on the record, we're told Seeker will end production after season two.

I just got this message from my contact: "As far as I've heard, it's not true".

Look, there are a LOT of people involved with this show. It will take some time for it all to get sorted out. But I'm not ready to give up hope yet.

Legend of the Seeker
I feel a little bad that my only reaction upon reading news of the cancellation of Legend of the Seeker was, “What, that’s still on the air?”

The fantasy-adventure, developed by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert from Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth novels, debuted in November 2008 as ABC Studios’ first move into broadcast syndication. Now in its second season, the future of Seeker already looked grim when in March the Tribune Company, whose stations are the show’s primary markets, decided not to pick it up a third season. Still, there was an outside possibility that, if enough other stations were willing to carry the series, another season could be produced.

But today Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello confirmed the ax has indeed fallen on Seeker which, based on the episode or two I’d seen, felt like a throwback to ’90s fantasy-adventures Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess (both of which were produced by Raimi and Tapert). The series follows the journey of a young woods guide, a wizard and a mysterious woman as they try to stop the ruler of D’Hara from releasing an ancient and terrible power.
