*waves at everybody*
Still here. Had a very busy week last week but still keeping up the fight. Getting ready to send out more letters. Also working away on my sequel fic.
WE NEED MORE SEEKER!!! I can only hope that if Joey Dakota takes off, the CW will gain some interst in doing a Seeker mini-series or something. Hopefully they see how much Craig is loved and how popular he is.
Keep fighting, Seekers! We've come too far to give up now!!

Sybil, I think they meant the *pilot* was ordered, not the actual series. The thing that I hate about pilots is that, if they're not picked up, we never get to see them! I want to see this one.

"I am actually looking forward to three new series, two of which you already know: "Joey Dakota" with Craig, "Frontier" with Bridget, and "Chicago Fire" with Jesse Spencer. "Oh, Deacon, don't talk about "Chicago Fire"...it only reminds me that House is gonna end soon *going into fetal position* (at last Jesse's gonna stay on TV, that's a consolation ) Yeah Crystal, you're right, Craig only got better with time. It was 6 years from Swimming Upstream to Legend and his cuteness level increased tons of times!

Yeah, that's a long time when you're that young. Some guys are still growing into their mid-late twenties. I think Craig lost his baby fat because he has more defined bone structure now, which is really hot, imo.

There is one article out there that talked about buzz for pilots. They said the network didn't say much, but they liked the singing, which is good, though not that informative. Plus, I've read a couple of TV blogs where people list Joey Dakota as one of the pilots they'd like to see. This is also good, but not sure it means much since the network execs are the ones who'll be making the decision. But at least it's making the short lists of people who comment on TV. Although, one thing they all say is how risky the show is, which I have to agree with. It kind of sounds like JD is a long shot, but you never know. I have to admit, when I first heard about the plot for "Joey Dakota", my first reaction was: seriously?! I mean, think about it... J. D. is described as: "a time-travelling musical murder mystery". I'll be honest, if it were not for the fact that Craig is the star, I wouldn't give this one a second look. It is out of loyalty to him that I will watch this. And, just as enthusiastic as he was about playing Richard, you know he will give this one his all. The opportunity to play a singer...if anyone can pull this off, Craig can. And, I want J. D. to do well for two main reasons: The CW media promotions will bring Craig the attention that "Seeker" should have if it had been promoted well, and all of these new Craig fans will want to know more about other things that he has been in, and this will lead them to "Seeker"! And, the fact that he will be playing a singer on TV can only help his plans to sing as well. It will be a win/win situation for Craig and his fans.

The only thing that worries me about JD is the time travel aspect. Unless handled in a very tight, extreamly well thought out way and avoids getting stuck in a paradox only to choose to ignore it will ruin it for me.
The concept of time travel is a subject that can get me ranting for days.. It can work but it's not often that the concept is handled well.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed tho.

We were given plenty of advance notice, months in advance, that this would be the last season. And, the writers are wrapping up lose story ends. And, several of the cast members already have new projects lined up. Unlike another show that was cancelled after only two seasons... Yes there's NO comparison between how House is gonna end and how our Seeker was stripped away for us...totally diferent and way less traumatic And thanks for the Craigy-boy pics Deacon! Oh, can you imagine if he's here. "undercover", reading all this things he write about him... ...it would be a little embarrasing wouldn't? Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Unlike so many of you I really dig on the "time travel" aspect. I read so many novel on time travel and really love them. Most of the books I've read have been done really well.
O yep, there is one thing to know that your series will end the coming year and just having it dropped with no wrapped party for the cast and all the others that made it happen. The whole thing was done dirty, for them and us. And don't get me going....(&%$#@&*

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha you always crack me up with this things Deacon!
I like the "time-travel" aspect too, and can't wait to see how they're gonna do it! Just hope it doesn't get too cheesy you know, like bright flashing lights and "video-game" sounds...but other than that I'm fine with it ;D

I agree! Craig has matured VERY nicely! He just keeps getting hotter and hotter, although he looked too thin at WonderCon. I seriously need to move in with him and take care of him...
The more support and attention Craig gets with JD the more it can bring to Seeker!!
We just have to be persistent in our support and keep making "LOTS" of noise!!

I am hoping that they do it very nicely. Really, how often do we hear of people time traveling, so what do any of us have to go by, heeeee. So maybe they'll just rock our world. Craig can just stand there with no shirt on. Will that work for you lotslove ;D? It'd sure work for me. Drowing in my drool again. Just think of all the new fans that JD will bring in for our Craigee. And how many of them never even seen LotS. So Our Seeker will get lot's of attention. Mini-series is in my mind.

I like the idea of time travel too. One of my current shows is Primeval and that's full of time travel. I lke paradoxes because I find them kind of fascinating to see how they're handled. They're sort of like vampires--they're impossible, so writers can make up their own rules about them, imo.
The thing that concerns me is hte musicl aspect of the show. It could be really cheese, imo. But it sounds like that part the network likes, so that's good.

@craig_Horner: Going to do some ADR for Joey Dakota. I had this poster when I was a kid! yfrog.com/ki6kerwij23 Apr via Twitter for BlackBerry® Craig is doing some follow-up work on "Joey Dakota", so I would say this is a good sign. Thanks to the photo that he shared with us, we know that he was/is a Batman fan. And, notice that he is keeping his hair covered up...I guess this is his "undercover" look? ;D
