ThanXXX veronic, it's great that LOTS_Sponsor is sharing his info
Here's some info from Jace too: (ThanX Jace )
"Yes the network upfronts are in May.
ABC/Disney will actually have two upfronts during the week of May 18th.
The first upfront in New York is where they will announce their 2010 national schedule of networked shows that you watch Monday through Friday. This particular upfront will have nothing to do with syndicated shows.
They (ABC/Disney) will also hold another secondary upfront presentation that is more of a sales presentation than anything else for foreign markets gernerally during that week as well.
This secondary international upfront (which is held in Burbank, CA usually) is where they sell their seasons of 2nd run syndicated shows but as of last year they started selling Legend Of The Seeker there as well some of their brand new shows that they have networked in primetime but are simultaneously selling in international syndication as well.
When ever that particular presentation goes down and if they push a 3rd season of Seeker on the international markets we should reasonably have an answer then.... if not sooner than that hopefully. "

Hey everyone forget about Tribune, forget them, they've made their mind up already.
Put your time and energy in SyFy. They've been airing season 1 & 2, so that tells me they must be thinking about it. It is time to bomb Syfy with e-mail and letters. I've already sent off 2 letters. So hit them hard. If we have any hope at all it's with Syfy. So move it and move it fast and hard!!!
The indecision is making me sick for one. I don't recall ever getting this emotional over a tv series before. I'm not sure if this is good or bad at this point. Lord help me...

This may be just me, but I wouldn't completely forget about the Tribune. Rumor is they are out of money, but some of the stations that are quasi independent of the Tribune are still interested in LotS.
Don't forget to hit ABC/Disney as well because they will ultimately decide LotS fate. Even if they don't make much money selling into syndication in the States they may continue if they can make money in other countries and selling the DVDs. It's the whole package that counts.

Nope, it's not just you auroracat, here's an eXcerpt from LOTS_Sponsor post on March 27th:
"Negotiations are still on going with Tribune (that is not a typo) for Season 3 distribution, as well as potential fall back options with other syndicated stations and cable networks, should negotiations fail with Tribune."
An updated list of ways for fans to help get Season 3 is here too:

Also just noticed this 'LotS' poll on the SyFy Forums: forums.syfy.com/index.php?showtopic=2346210

KTLA's made an official statement on their website: Q: Does Legend Of The Seeker air repeats if I miss an episode? When do new episodes air? Will there be a 3rd season? April 7, 2010
Legend Of The Seeker airs like this: the newest episode airs on Sundays at 4-5pm. That episode then repeats one week later on Saturday at 1-2am. If you miss an episode at 4pm, you can see it one week later at 1am. Shows are new usually during the ratings sweeps periods of November, February and May. Repeats air in between the new episodes. Disney produces 22 new episodes per season.
New episodes air: 11/8 (122-201), 11/15 (202), 11/22 (203), 11/29 (204), 12/6 (205), 12/13 (206), 1/10 (207), 1/17 (208), 1/24 (209), 1/31 (210), 2/14 (211), 2/21 (212), 2/28 (213), 3/21 (214), 3/28 (215), 4/11 (216), 4/18 (217), 4/24 (218), 5/2 (219), 5/8 (220).
Disney decides if they will renew the series for a 3rd season. Please contact Disney-ABC directly about the show. They have given us the impression there will be no 3rd season. KTLA's contract only runs through the 2009/2010 season 2. Disney-ABC could find another station group or cable channel to air the show. www.ktla.com/about/station/programming/ktla-q-does-legend-of-the-seeker-a-146670,0,904780.story

I'm with Jace on this. Every other indication from Disney/ABC is that they really want to have a 3rd season.

Since we have just had news that season 2 is starting over seas and that Disney is actively marketing it over seas, I have not lost hope for a season 3. There is something like 116 countries that they have sold it to, so LotS fate does not rest solely in the hands of the US market.
So don't lose hope!
