How to use the Image/URL Coding here

Proboards has a very distinct way of utilizing html type coding to post photos and links. You can either use the buttons that are all located right above your text box to start the code, or do it manually.

How do you do the "Source" code?

I noticed on some of your postings you'll have the word SOURCE and when I wiggle my mouse over it its a link. How do you do that? I keep trying to figure it. I'd like to avoid posting looooooooooong links.

to put a link for google with the text saying 'source':
[*url=www.google.com*]source[*/url*]
when you take out the *, here's what you get:
source

copy the web link you want. come here to post and click the little "globe" icon to insert hyperlink. It gives you this:



in between the 2 codes is where you paste the weblink. to change the name to source or whatever you want, you need to move the the red bracket (I made it red for instruction purposes only) then insert = (this is to show that the url will "equal" whatever name you give it. Then you just need to close off the code by inserting the bracket again

so [url=website.com]name you want such as source
