I'd peg it a lot higher, actually. Aside from special effects and complex fight choreographies, we've a TON of guest stars this season. And it was well worth it as far as the special effects and the fight choreographies!! Can do without the special guest stars. That would help on cost. I know they did it to help draw more attention to the show, but the cast, SE, and fights really make the show awesome. Hopefully the S2 DVD sales will help convince them there is money to be made with this show.

I do think that we have a hope and am encouraged that Disney/ABC is very quiet about things right now. I think it means that there is some serious deal making being attempted to save the show. I so hope you're right, auroracat!! I'm glad we haven't heard anything b/c maybe that means they're trying again to save it, but at the same time the wait is killing me!! Keep up the great work everyone!! ;D

You guys are so right!!! We need to KEEP FIGHTING!!!!!! Almost every day there's a new article on the web about us rabid fans and how we're creating a huge stir through-out the internet and that the entertainment industry is taking notice!! Maybe Syfy will change their minds or Disney will lower their asking price. Who knows?? So, don't give up hope! Let's continue to support each other and our Seeker!!

**SciFi Fans Trample the Internet in Effort to save the Seeker** -April 30th/2010
April 2010 may well be remembered as the month that fans of the syndicated television show stampeded across the Internet. Websites around the world have trembled with the fury of the science fiction fans. What roused their ire? The announcement by Entertainment Weekly’s Mike Ausiello that ABC Studios was abandoning ship on its syndicated action/adventure show, “Legend of the Seeker”.
Based on SciFi writer Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth books, “Legend of the Seeker” is produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, who together drove the 1990s pop shows “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and “Xena: Warrior Princess” to success in 100 world markets. Raimi has been able to write his own ticket as a director since then. Tapert hasn’t done poorly, either: he married the star of “Xena”, Lucy Lawless. Unfortunately, the good names of Goodkind, Raimi, and Tapert were not good enough to keep the show aloft.
Despite guest appearances by lots of top talent (including John Rhys-Davies) and the addition of the gorgeous Aussie actress Tabrett Bethel to the cast (which includes Craig Horner, Bruce Spence, Bridget Regan, and Craig Parker) ratings for the show in American markets never topped the charts. Fans of the show largely blame the Tribune Company, whose Broadcasting group tends to move syndicated genre shows into the trash heap of television scheduling. Tribune, for their part, went into bankruptcy and dropped the show in March. They are humbly asking the FCC if they can form a new company and still keep their 23 television stations.
The SciFi fans have launched a Save Our Seeker campaign complete with almost by-the-hour Save The Seeker blog posts on everything happening in the Seekerverse. The rumbling has been heard in the far corners of the entertainment world and the fans are gathering their finances to buy a full page in Variety.
Twitter has suffered the full fury of the onslought. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of fans have been Tweeting “Save Our Seeker” and “Save The Seeker” night and day. They are contacting anyone associated with Disney, ABC, and every network that might have an interest in an action/adventure fantasy show.
Although no official announcement has been made about the show’s fate yet, that may not matter. Fans declare they are determine to keep campaigning until the show is brought back even if it is cancelled. Some fans are already calling for a movie. Others are suggesting that everyone buy DvDs (there have been two seasons of “Seeker” so far). If studio executives have been hiding under their desks or taking quick vacations to avoid the chaos, they may wake up to the cold realization that this protest won’t go away any time soon.

I also put in my emails that I hadn't even read Terry Goodkind's books until I started watching LOTS. That's when I went out and bought the books and started reading them.
That might help sway them also...

Emailed SYFY again asking them to please reconsider picking up LOTS. When you are done emailing and tweeting, then DO IT AGAIN!!! If we POLITELY harrass them enough, maybe they'll get the hint. Also, keep bugging Disney to lower their asking price. I just emailed them again for the second time tonight, but this time I asked them to please lower their asking price and emphasized the fact that because of this show, I started reading TG's books. Hopefully that will make a difference. Have we actually threatened boycotting things yet? Ok, off to tweet, then cry myself to sleep for the second night in a row... This has been an exhausting, heart-wrenching two days. I hope this gets resolved ASAP because I don't think my poor heart can take much more...

Just sent my email to Disney to save LOTS with a big fat plea!!
Keep fighting guys! This isn't over yet. Keep slamming SYFY with tweets and emails too. They may reconsider if we create enough of a fuss!!
Cried all evening, cried this morning, cried on my way home from work...I'm exhausted and ticked now!!
