"Hi seekers!
Legend of The Seeker Italia is planning lots ( ;D) of ideas!
Since the show is still stopped in Italy...(perhaps it will be broadcasted by Rai2 at the end of July, but when I wrote days ago to Rai2, they tell me they don't know nothing about the broadcasting of the show... )
...somebody thought: why don't we dress red, white, black dress and go around to do some propaganda for the show? ;D

"Today we have a BIG NEWS for you: we have an OFFICIAL STAND!
The girl who made the lots dolls (our admin) has just purchased a little space for her creation and her stand will host all the seeker fans who wants to join us!
We will do some propaganda and gave some lots gadgets made by our community (or who wants to help us, we are open to ideas and to our brothers from other countries!!)...we are working really hard!
The festival will be last days of september 2010...are you in?"

Message from angiespotter/Anna: "These past few days probably sum up as one of the best experiences of my whole life. We worked hard, woke up at indecent hours to either dress up or catch the train (or both), run like hell, did endless queues, suffocated in that cubicle they called a "stand", ran after people dressed up as Naruto to convert them to fantasy... but we also talked to a guy dressed like Gimli squeeing over Richard's hotness, we gave free LOTS gadgets making people happy, people all over the festival asked for a chance to take a picture with our Mord'Sith (even if they didn't know the characters), we only ate chips & energy bars to fit the costumes, we protected the young dressed in smexy costumes from pervs, we laughed our asses off during the fight scenes we tried to shoot, we broke agiels, we repaired agiels, we laughed over Richard's stupidity growing together with his hair ... We tried to Save the Seeker, but most importantly: we had tons of fun & I want to thank all of you guys for this wonderful week we spent together!"
Message from Mer De Noms, Oct 8th/2010: "Now that I'm finally home, I have to write to you how wonderful it was this Romics.
First, I want to thank you all for your donations and for your help, especially Laura and sos.com.
Then I need to write some lines about our experience. Months ago, Nicole, our Mother Confessor, decided to buy a stand on her own. Then we decided to use her stand to make something big. We talked nights and days and finally we decided what to do. We met difficulties (itunes cards not available, few donations, no dvds...) but we made it together, side by side as real friends. Me, Nicole and her sister (our Seeker).
Since I live so far away from Rome I was not sure about my presence because of many problems. But thanks to my Friends, I was able to pick up the train and open the door's house of Nicole, she was waiting for me and she gave me a place to sleep as I was part of the family. I saw her mother doing almost all the costumes, Mother Confessor, Darken Rahl, Denna, and I love to read all the compliments she deserves to.
I will always remember with a laugh (maybe not just one) Darken Rahl driving a car while Denna can't close the car's door because with her clothes she was not able to move; I will remember the smile of the curious people moving closer to our stand, the smile of the people I love, the laughs and the complicity we had even if we stay only two days together. The power of the Seeker, that remembered us the value of a smile instead of some money, the value of the real friendship instead of the bad things that happen all over the world, the value of doing good instead of doing bad or nothing.
I'm glad to have had the opportunity to stay close with genuine people, with real fans, to have shared laughs and tiredness and to have worked with a wonderful Artist and friend.
Photos and videos and words are the proves we have made it, we made something big in our country, we are all glad for that and we will do the same thing on other conventions.
Now that I'm home I can say I miss so much the place where I was but I'm not sad and I'm working again with Nicole to build again something big, with a smile behind this monitor."

So Incredible. Congratulations, all of you. I remember those kinds of days. I made many costumes, wrote several skits, dragged my three kids with me, lost sleep, much more and loved every bit of it. You will never forget these days when you came together as friends and compatriots. Lovely pictures. And please give your seamstress my compliments. So much fun.
