An excerpt from "Knight & Day" movie review (stars Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz): Those looking for the bubbly, cheerful, lithe knockout of "There's Something about Mary" will be disappointed in the "K&D" Diaz.
Here, she looks like somebody who is interfering with Tom's lighting. Does anybody know how to photograph women anymore? Well, yes. The guy who shoots "Legend of the Seeker," which I watch every Sunday evening, pretending to share my son's love of the fantasy genre.
Anybody else, American Society of Cinematographers?source

@projectcould @saveourseeker Talked to an @directv rep and he said there is a good chance #LegendoftheSeeker can be saved because of the Twitter mention!
Is this real life?

This doesn't make sense to me. Let me see if I understand. A rep from Direct TV said that because someone mentioned LOTS on Twitter, the show might be saved? Or is he saying that the mention by Direct TV on Twitter meant that someone at Direct TV is interested in LOTS? I guess, who is this guy and which Twitter mention is he/she talking about. Big grain of salt with this for me.

He may even mean that getting it mentioned (trending? -- who knows what he means) gives it a better shot -- not that THEY will pick it up - but just in general. Much to vague. Just keep up what we've been doing. They are feeling the pressure, I'm sure. ETA: I've been tweeting Syfy, DirecTV, ABC/Disney about Craig winning hottest man in fantasy. (And Bridget won sexiest woman!!) Can't they see these 2 could make them A LOT of money? They will draw audiences - people just need to know about them. (thanks for the karma MK!)

There should be a link in the article on how to contact him. If we all politely e-mailed him and asked nicely, maybe he would give a mention to the SoS campaign in another article.
I have been trying to click through the various links in the article to contact Gary Thompson, but the firewall here at work is blocking me. If anyone else gets through and finds a contact e-mail or other way to contact him, please chime in!
Here is the e-mail addy for Thompson:

We're making our mark on Twitter again - this time not with a trending topic but with a top tweet in a current trending topic. (#showsweneedback has been trending for 2+ hours so this is great exposure!)

I just don't understand Twitter. I send letters, cause a friend of mine who works at Disney ALWAYS saz that letters carry weight. So I write.
Every Monday I send a letter to Disney, I've done this for about 6 to 8 weeks. It's just easy for me to remember each Monday, letter to Disney.
So what if every Monday we all sent a letter to Disney? I think it would get their attention for sure. I think I'm going to start sending a letter to Syfy on Mondays, too.
The actors haven't been let go from their contracts. How long can they keep them hanging? They have to work, too.

Letters are definitely the best and I think most of us are sending at least a letter a week to Disney. Twitter is useful for getting LotS and the SaveOurSeeker campaign noticed and bringing new people to the show and our efforts. Well done on your efforts!!!

Wristbands for SOS - From James on FB:
"OK- Here it is- I'm throwing down the gauntlet and challenging Seekers to follow suit- I'm done waiting to see who's going to step up and get this thing going.
I'm about to purchase 100 White armbands for $100.00 in the name of Mother Earth and the Mother Confessor with a saveourseeker.com tag. They will sell for $2.00... each, plus however many cents it takes to ship them within the continental U.S.
The proceeds will go to helping with the Oil Spill Disaster. If the initial $100.00 is met, I will re-purchase and do it all again. I've got a PayPal account and I'll figure it out tomorrow.
Save Our Planet/Save Our Seeker. This is my word and my vow. With thanks to Bella Light."
Update: Wristband will be white with blue lettering: Kahlan: Save Your Planet SaveOurSeeker.com (on the reverse)
(P.S. Bridget tweeted previously about her concern over the Oil spill: )
