P.S. Jace, I believe, seems to think you're legit and he's proven to be an insider himself, so I still believe in you for now.
I do and I hope I am right but ultimately I cannot speak to his/her legitamcy or not. Either your on the up and up or the best tactical guesser I have seen. Hopefully you can get all this situated out.

I mean two days ago now I basically heard this as well as you stated:
everything that happened lately did get Disney's attention and they were considering going back and looking at everything again this past week.
as I got a similar story from two different people that a couple of the higher ups had a couple of convos about the possibilty of looking into scenarios again this past weekend due to the recent positive chatter. Does that mean it will happen heck no . But it at the least got discussed and it reveals the mindset of some there and as long as that mindset exists there is always a chance for that miracle that has saved shows in the past. With that said it is a little freaky if you aren't on the level. Although I will admit these convos are exceedingly common though when you have a show you don't want to give up and they really don't. I bore witness to many convos of this type while working at NBC-U... an unbelievable and exceeding amount of hand wringing goes on at this time of the year for all networks and I can't understate that enough. You think fans are bad wait to you see a network employee who job is on the line.

Also true is the fact of what TheTorchOnline stated that at this time in that no negotiations are taking place with any new suitors nor have there been for a while. This I have been told consistently for the last 3 weeks now.

Hadn't heard about the actors/actresses being let go early but I never inquired about that. As I went off Mike Sussman statement that we would hear about that in June.

With all that said these facts alone are why I have stated a few times now that these next two weeks are extremly important with your short and long term goals. You have to get you message out to as many eyes and ears as possible. You have to bring people to ABC with your message. You have to interest new suitors.

You have the right idea started with this thread:

in that you put your message before everyone and anyone both foreign and domestic and not just affiliates. Again these next two weeks are important but even still you must go beyond that as well.

As Mr. Hartigan has mentioned in his previous articles anything can happen. Shows have been brought back before and I gaurentee it will happen again wether it be for Seeker godwilling or some other series down the road.

Also again I ask that you take it easy on Mr. Hartigan and TheTorchOnline.com they are supporters of this show and this cause. Although their message is dreary it isn't untrue and everyone here also knew to expect it. Their message that this can also be turned around is true as well and you should take that to heart as it has happend before as previously stated.

And to add a couple of hopefully insperational cliches "it is always darkest before the dawn" and "it is better to go down swinging than not at all".

With that said push through the oncoming bad news as other successful fan campaigns have done in the past and keep up the good fight even in these dreariest of times.

On this site www.tvguide.com/News/Legend-Seeker-Canceled-1017800.aspx they also announced lots' cancelation, but the people on the forum hope it is being picked up by Scify. Apperently, they did the same with Merlin, so it seems theirs a good shot they're gonne pick this up too... *hoping, hoping hoping*

maybe we can send emails etc. to Scify to ask them or they can pick LotS up... Who's with me?

Our email/letter writing campaign has always included SyFy so I encourage you to continue to include them. However, we already know that a deal between SyFy and Disney was not reached -- but we continue to encourage them to come to an agreement.

Being that it's dated April 26, it's old news as far as the SaveOurSeeker campaign goes. Here's where we are now in the Renewal Campaign:

Remember, all this new "news" is really just regurgitated old news. For business reasons ABC/Disney will continue the official company line of "it's cancelled" and no we are not in negotiations or talking to anyone officially unless and until they can give us really confirmed positive news. From their point of view, the back lash would be worse if they were to say yes, we are talking and then have things fall through again. Better to say "no" until they can positively say yes.

Disney/ABC is a HUGE company and it is very good at keeping things under wraps until they are ready to officially announce. It is entirely withing reason that many people in the company are not aware of any talks going on, or that they are aware but have been told to spout the official company line "or else". I worked for Disney for many years and know that when the company tells you to keep something quiet or else there will be consequences, they really mean it.

So keep fighting!!!!!!!

I've already done that. Today I sent two more letters to ABC and TNT. I hope saveourseeker.com will show their new step soon, because in 3 days I won't be able to help the fandom (no internet access or just a few minutes per day).

Hiya platy93 - That's great you've done those things and are anxious to do more! That's what is keeping our campaign going. The important thing now is to KEEP doing those things. It may seem redundant, but we need to keep the pressure on ABC/Disney with our emails and letters as well as continue to reach out to new stations (noted in the link a few posts up) to consider picking up Seeker for S3 distribution.

That being said, remember to keep episodes rolling on Hulu and/or Netflix and, if you can, purchase an episode or two on iTunes.

The next 7 - 10 days are critical to the campaign so we want to be very loud and make our voices heard.

Keep up the fight!
