That article was EVIL! *Whimpers* here all us Browncoats thought that our long lost hopes had finally been realized. XP Still good publicity and exposure. As for the TV guide list.. Someone REALLY needs to pay some attention to this! I mean it's rating better than Two and a Half Men. We're talking rating better than a show currently ongoing in what? it's 7th season? And, not to be mean, but Charlie Sheen keeps trying to screw things up for the show by getting into trouble, getting wasted, forcing the show to cease filming for undetermined amounts of time which cost the production company a fortune. Plus he jacks up his demanded pay every time he renews his contract.. And yet the show flourishes. Just my two cents..

ForeverRK> I do love your idea of a trailer in the theaters but let's think about how many people there are paying attention to the previews? When I'm at the movies, I do not pay attention to those previews, not at all. If we're gonna spend that kinda money, than we should know if people really pay attention to them. Cause I for me do not.
What get's these people attention? I know letters are far better than e-mails. So what really get's their attention? I'm talking to my self cause I really don't know. You guys know more than I do. Eventho I really like the idea, will it really work?
If ya ask me, and I know no one did, I think a tv commercial would do a lot better. But now we're talking big bucks. Now could we raise that kinda money and how long would that take?
Ya know what I love about this fandom? We are trying so damn hard and coming up with the most amazing ideas. We just aren't giving up, eventho we each have our moments when we want to kill. We are hanging in there. This site has helped me keep my sanity.
I watched Firefly and their having reruns cause Castie is so popular now. I loved Firefly and couldn't understand why it was canceled. Please if you haven't seen this show, watch, cause it was good.
I tried to e-mail Ellen, but I couldn't send it couse I don't have a photo. Why they do that? But I 'd love the see the cast on her show, I dvr her every day. Blessed Be....

*Salutes Sybil*
Always good to see a fellow Browncoat!
Agreed tho folks. If you haven't seen Firefly watch an episode.. or two.. or 14 XP
Forwarning tho. If you wanna start with the pilot (IE online or anything other than the DVDs) start with the REAL pilot "Serenity" not "The Train Job" "Serenity" is the pilot that Joss intended. "The Train Job" was only made because FOX felt that the real pilot was too slow and boring and wanted something fast paced as the network series premier. I forget the exact statistics but "Train Job" was a rush job, filmed in like 3 days.
*DING* IDEA!
We should start writing to one of the Tabletop RPG publishers and maybe pitch/ask for a Seeker themed Tabletop RPG! Terry Goodkind has created such a huge, well thought out world that would be a very awesome RPG.
Yes I know very Dungeons and Dragons of me but hell. We Browncoats got a Serenity RPG series! (I have a few of the campaign books myself) It would be yet more great exposure! Would likely draw yet more fans to both the books series and the TV series. More fans would show companies that this IS a profitable series/franchise.
I REALLY want to prove to Disney that by ditching Seeker altogether is a replay of the same mistake when they originally passed on the film rights to Harry Potter. (Universal is probably STILL laughing at them for it too)
Anyways.. I really think a Role Playing Campaign series would be awesome! Just a thought tho.. If anyone likes such an idea I can start pulling up info on the various publishers that handle RPG books.

Khei>So I guess I'm a Browncoat. I loved Firefly and was so disappointed when it was canceled. To see Nathan now and remembering him then, he was so young then and he's so mature now. Now there's a guy that grown up real good. I really like that they are going to show reruns, sweet.
How do we prove to Disney that by ditching Seeker, they would be making the same mistake as when they passed on the rights to Harry Potter? I wonder if Disney is still kicking their own butt and I hope that Universal is still laughing at them, BIG TIME.

The reruns will definitely be good for Firefly. We really need to get Seeker playing in reruns as well. I know that is not as exciting as a Season 3 would be, but reruns keep a show on the air, they keep it "visible", and also bring in more fans. We need that. Also, the Faxo voting is almost finished for this month, about three more days. Perhaps print a copy of page 1 of the favorite shows, and send it to some of the networks that we write to, so that they can see Seeker in the #1 spot! Also, print a copy of page 1 of the favorite actors, and send it to Craig when we begin writing him in March about having an official website. Craig is #4 this month, that is the highest that we have ever voted for him. This may help to convince him of how popular he is with his fans, and that he needs to have an official site.

>From R33per:
That’s right we will be coordinating our efforts with the Live Journal “Epic Seeker Re-watch” bit.ly/gRG00h to get more bang for our buck, so we will be watching Episodes 9 “Puppeteer” and/or Episode 10 “Sacrifice”.
You can choose to watch one or the other or both, it’s your choice. You know how it’s done. Set your Hulu lasers to Puppeteer/Sacrifice and get trending. That’s right the week of March 6th to 13th watch nothing but Episode 9 and/or 10 on Hulu: bit.ly/WYW1b
Now just like always we’ll make this clear… You don’t have to watch the stream!!! Just set Hulu to play Episode 9 or 10 and let it run. You may need to check in every now and then to restart the episode, but other than that you can go about your business. Seriously, it’s easy, it’s cheap, and it will help our campaign more than you can know. As of right now, Legend of the Seeker is on page 2 of the All-time Most Popular TV shows on Hulu.
So get pimpin’. Spread the word everywhere you can think. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, LiveJournal, Blogger, walk up to random strangers and shove a computer in their face, put a huge neon sign on the roof of your house… all’s fair in love for the Seeker. ;D
Oh and don’t forget to subscribe to Legend of the Seeker when you get on Hulu.
Get on it Seekers!!! Hulu warriors arise!!! We will Save Our Seeker!!!

Personally I have a hard time with audio books, I too easily loose focus but for someone who likes that format or wants to get their feet wet with the book series, this sounds like a great idea.
