That's fabulous news ;D I tend to air on the side of caution and think we should keep writing until we have confirmation. (you'll shoot me like a clay pigeon for saying that) Maybe we should add Tribune stations back to our roster. Although many of the affliates are on our list since they carry FOX, Tribune, and CW programming. Power on Conseekadores

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I don't think this has any significance. If there were real news that would be tweeted about instead.

Flyers
Brainstorming with @mcc2040 (Nicci) and asheebizzle (Ashley) on Twitter after recalling a previous 'Veronica Mars' flyer campaign, ( www.watchveronicamars.net/flyer_campaign/ ) and thought we could maybe try one for 'Legend of the Seeker' for Sweeps (and sooner) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nielsen_ratings
Any of you Creative Seekers game??
Basically, it would be creating a LotS flyer to attract New viewers to the series One that could be printed out by anyone/anywhere, and plastered all over their city to draw attention/publicity ;D (with permission of shop owners, etc... )
On the back of the 3D cards that ABC gave out, it had something similar to this, which I thought might work for the flyers:
For the USA:
"Legend Of The Seeker" "Watch the Epic TV Series" (Go to LegendOfTheSeeker.com for TV Time & Channel in your Area)
For other Countries:
"Legend Of The Seeker" "Watch the Epic TV Series" (Check your Local Listings for Time & Channel in your Area)
---or perhaps a spot to write the Channel/Time in, for fans that know what it is in their Area
What do ya guys think??
DVD Drive
Another 'Veronica Mars' Campaign idea to get new viewers/publicity, was to donate the Official DVD Release(s) to local libraries: www.watchveronicamars.net/dvd_drive/
"Call your local public or university library and ask them if they stock TV shows on DVD?? If they do, please let them know that you would love to donate a copy of "Legend of the Seeker: The Complete First" on DVD to their library. Head over to the store with the best sale, buy the DVD, and then deliver to the librarian." (Amazon.com seems to still have the best price: www.amazon.com/Legend-Seeker-Complete-First-Season/dp/B002GY9F9K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1265580753&sr=1-2 )

LOTS_SPONSOR: "Yes, we will be having another conference call with them.
We usually talk with the marketing/sales/distribution departments when we call ABC and other companies. Legend of the Seeker is just one of the shows that we will be talking about as there may be interest in other shows they offer as well. The only problem with Legend of the Seeker right now is we don’t know what network or channels it will be appearing on yet for Season 3 so trying to reach a deal with them and tv stations is not an option at the moment.
When reaching a deal to sponsor a show potential viewers and ratings do matter, but they are not the only factor. We need to know how many channels, what network(s), and what geographical areas this will cover before a deal can be reached.
I truly believe from talking with our contacts that they are working hard and reaching out to Tribune, independent networks, possibly SyFy, and ABC Family to see what type of deal, if any, can be reached. There is a lot of number crunching involved on both ends in this type of deal as networks and ABC need to look into their budgets and see if they can afford it, and if not, what sacrifices they can make if they really want the show. If I had to guess this is why there is no official announcement at this time because these types of scenarios take time.
Have they officially told me that Season 3 is a go? No, however, all the work that they are doing behind the scenes and some of the things they have said would indicate it will be returning. They will not make any official announcement until there is a suitable distribution plan in place though.
I understand that people are worried and concerned. When I first heard the news that Tribune was not renewing it I was shocked and disappointed as well as a couple of my co-workers. However, as most people know Tribune is having some financial problems at the moment and pulling the plug wasn’t just do to ratings as they say."
