Do you feel like you are the only one posting letters?.....
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Most of us are doing what we can to help the fandom, but do you ever wonder how many other people are actually participating in the letter writing campaigns?
Without giving away too many details, there will be an upcoming LOTSvideo project to give an idea of how many people are actually involved.
What we need people to do is to start taking photos (and videos) of the following things:
--The actual letters you are sending; photos of the envelopes (including the stamps of which country you are from!!);
-- multiples of letters being printed,
--empty ink cartridges (and anything else that indicates the volume of letters you are sending).
--Even seeing fans putting their letters in the mailbox would be great!
If people are doing HANDWRITTEN letters, this would individualize the video even more.
For those Seekers who have so far not been involved in any of the video projects, this may be the one for you: if you are camera-shy, you don't have to be in your photo/video, but of course the more fans we actually see will make the video seem more personalised.
All you need for this project is a camera, and to take a photo of what you are already doing!
If you are yet to write a letter - this is the best opportunity to start.
Let's really hit the networks hard now.
This project is still a little way off, but we wanted to give you some warning so it gives everyone plenty of time to take part. This, once again, will be aimed at showing the networks just how many people are fans of this show, and the potential revenue they are missing out on by not producing a 3rd season.
NOTE: Make sure your OWN name and address is not included in the photo/video. It is ok for the address of the networks to be included as they are already made public.

Start getting your photos ready now. ;D
Take pictures of your ink cartridges, or all of your envelopes and printed out letters.
You can make copies of everyone we've written to. That would make a pile of papers to photo. I know because I was going through mine last night.
Here's a small list that I'm sure could have later additions: (some have already been suggested, but what the hell.)
-your receipts for the supplies for the letter writing campaigns
-ink cartridges
-all the paper you've bought
-stacks of different envelopes
-any cardstock
-postcards would make a nice picture all in a pile
-pics you've sent
-pics from the 'Apples to ABC/Disney' thread
-pics from the 'Unhappy Heroes' thread
-pics from the humor thread
-copies of the SOS adverts
-copies of the bus stop ad
-a guesstimate of all the hours you've spent on this campaign written on cardstock
-pics of the merchandise you've bought
-fanart (tons out there)
-pics of your kids holding up the DVDs. (If you don't have kids, be shameless, borrow some.

"Can I please stress that this would be a really great opportunity for international fans to make their presence known.
I understand it costs us more to send letters overseas, but please make an effort for this project.
And go to your local post office and see what types of stamps they have on offer. Multiple stamps with your country's name on them and different pictures will really stand out.

"Seeing all these letters is very encouraging, but please remember that we want to see people in the photos too.
We have to reiterate to ABC/Disney, and other potential networks, that these are REAL people sending these letters, and to show them the wide demographic that this show appeals to.
(We are not saying that you have to post the pictures including yourself on the forum, but just make sure you have some ready for when submissions need to be sent in).
And start taking video as well, for those of you who have video cameras:
writing on envelopes or handwriting the letter, your printer working overtime with multiples of letters, or even footage of you putting a horde of letters in the postbox.

LOTSvideo has yet to pick a deadline for this project.
We just need everyone to collect evidence of their efforts. We wanted to give enough heads up so we could include the new efforts like the "When you wish upon a star" and other new mailing projects.
